One trick in the NE corridor northbound from DC is you can sometime board long-distance services in coach and take advantage of the comfier long-distance seats. The catch is that the arrival times are less predictable. Silver/Palmetto service can be up to an hour early or nearly half a day late. from DC northbound.
That is an interesting route. Spending 3 hours in Philadelphia to sleep is something. I am surprised they didn't add a sleeper car to that train. They used to in the past.
@@SoloTravelSolTube at one point they ran sleeper cars from Boston to DC, and vice versa, for over night service so businessmen can arrive in the morning.
New video!! Everytime I took the NR to NYC for work from DC it was a crazy boarding experience. However, I always walk all the way down and it's fairly nice to get a good seat :)
Great video man! It sucks our train systems here in the US are so bad compared to other parts of the world, especially Europe. Glad you made it safe. 😊
Why make trains so difficult? Train arrives, passengers deboard it's cleaned and is set up for the next journey and you walk up to it and board it whenever. Standing in a line sucks
Something about your voice is so relaxing to listen to. 😅
That's good to hear hehe thank you!😁

What! sleepers in Northeast Regional!? What did I miss out on!!!
Though I guess majority of passengers only go a few hours at most🥲

@@SoloTravelSolTubeyeah I loved that, did a couple trips on it, one of which i did a video on. Hopefully the sleeper comes back eventually.
