Must have been put together on a Friday afternoon before a 3 day holiday.

I've got a yard machines 22" 179cc that a friend gave me. The carb bowl was full of junk and the tires are toast. Picked up a chinesium carb that should be here Friday and a couple tires with tunes eventhough I popped a hole in one of the tunes while mounting the tire, but not bad for $50 and some time tinkering in the garage.

You gave me hope that I may be able to resurrect my polar blast 10530! I gave up on it 15 years ago and turned it over to a "pro". He said low compression and it would need a new engine (He was in the process of shutting down his shop for good and perhaps had an extra motor to get rid of?) I just don't know what the valve gap should be on mine. Thanks for your demonstration!

Yeah those 3 and 5 thou settings are crucial with those comp release cams. Your daughter loves you man. shes blessed👍

Nice fix! BTW you might want to either warn your daughter not to put that battery in her mouth or gently take it away---babies swallow those things and get really sick...

Could it be that someone/somebody did NOT have the services not pulled after the first 20 hours of operation, such as
making sure that the valve lashes be checked and certainly after a thorough break-in period ??? I think so!! I read over
a Honda push mower's operator's manual that explicitly tells the owner to take the machine to a local authorized repair
shop after the first 20 hours or quite possibly the first 10 hours to get the valve lash adjustment and inspection report
done in order for Honda to further warranty their product. If by not doing so, Honda can flat out tell you the your warranty
will be thus be void!! It is a very good policy and an owner may find it quite painful as in pain in the @$$ but it is a good
policy. The same owner's manual also stipulated that the first oil change must be done after the first 5 hours of break-in
too! It is bothersome for most people but it's no problem for me and as for any other repairs that are required, well, I just
leave it up to Honda to sort out! My perspective on the first oil change could be to send the oil out for analysis to further
back up my claim(s) if any and this too is a good policy!!
