I decided to create a chopping board for a loved ones birthday this week , with a simple charcuterie/chopping board design I decided to play it safe however I was not happy and decided to use woodworking techniques that are usually used for structural purposes and decided to accent the wood and boards using inlays to created a more artistic chopping board. Being a woodworker is a fantastic way to explore your artistic and creative side creating woodworking art , sculptures , hand carved and expressive designs no rules just you and the wood , so hopefully you can take some techniques and ideas from this video and apply them to your own woodworking journey.
The board is now live and available on Etsy and my website along with other pieces from the studio , should you wish to purchase anything or show any support its much appreciated.
