I already did a 2002-2003 roster on Xbox under xXLoN3WoLf24Xx and every team has at least 8 players, correct contracts, age, years played, mostly jersey numbers and attributes. It works perfectly except in myleague, for some reason it crashes 2k when it gets to the load a draft class screen :/
I don't understand why they don't just completely take out the 2005 Spurs and put in the 2014 version. Sure, we wouldn't be getting a prime Parker, Manu, and Duncan. 2k could mitigate most of the depth problems by making the generics at the end of the roster somewhat similar to the player that they weren't able to get. Kinda like the old college games. So if you don't have Chris Bosh on the '13 Heat, you instead have a 2k generic with a knock-down mid-range and some decent defensive skills. Different name, different number, different face, slightly different attributes, same role.
You're absolutely right, but teams are crippled without some of these players. At least this way they'd be viable online. The roster can be fixed for offline use otherwise.

I hate those unknown players on the throwback teams if they gonna put a throwback team put every player from the team or else don't have them in the game

You said 2000's teams and mentioned some 10's teams lol but still sad to see these teams get unnecessarily nerfed hard
2k could mitigate most of the depth problems by making the generics at the end of the roster somewhat similar to the player that they weren't able to get. Kinda like the old college games. So if you don't have Chris Bosh on the '13 Heat, you instead have a 2k generic with a knock-down mid-range and some decent defensive skills. Different name, different number, different face, slightly different attributes, same role.
its not as fun using a fake version it just feels better knowing youre using the actual chris bosh
You're absolutely right, but teams are crippled without some of these players. At least this way they'd be viable online.
The roster can be fixed for offline use otherwise.
Can you please address the different tiers that they force you to play with I think that sucks they telling me who to play with it's sad I paid my money I should be able to play with any team I want online. Last year we can play with all the teams online we didn't have to level up to unlock them can you please tweet Mike Wayne about this

It seems to be a case of quantity of over quantity with the classic teams now.
If you can't fill out the team then don't add them to the game.
Also the fact that many of the missing players can be found in my team is BS. 🙄

I have been playing 2k19 for 2 hours and I already hate it. My career is horrible, the story is longer and worse, playnow online is horrible and it's impossible for me to upgrade my player since I don't want to spend more money on an already $60 game. Fuck 2k
