Thank you so much for the compliment! I try and do everything for my own gaming to create as immersive and experience as possible so I am glad other people find these add to immersion for them as well.
This is great! I gotta ask, are you using an AI software to create the videos? Or are doing the editing and sourcing the art manually? Looks amazing either way.
Yes I am using AI. It would cost me an insurmountable fortune and time to do it any other way. Thank you for the compliment on the results. I understand why but some people are hyper sensitive to the use of AI. However in this case I think it’s a perfect utilization for stories that are in the public domain anyway. In fact I think Lovecraft stories tend to lend themselves to something that isn’t quite as realistic. That’s why it’s hard to have great Lovecraft Hollywood pictures. I feel like if it looks too real then it just takes you out of the cosmic horror fantasy of it all.
Oh, apologies I just reread your question and I didn’t give you a complete answer. I use AI to generate the images. Occasionally I will use another program to animate one of those images if I feel it’s really worth it. But mostly I just use the still images generated. I find I can add just as effective dramatic frame motion and it’s a lot faster and cheaper. So I incorporate all the images, source the music and the voiceover as well as do all the titling in a video editing app.
Very well done. Thank you.
You’re welcome! Colour Out of Space is up next.
These episode snippets are freaking fantastic! Great way to get immersed before the game
