I barely have the words to express either my gratitude or the nostalgia watching this game gives me of my childhood. Although I will say that the ocean level was where for me at least things really started getting hairy; can't recall the number of times I accidentally boxed myself in with my own bombs. Don't think I ever beat it though, as something always seemed to call away my attention, which was why when later generations of gaming consoles came with memory storages I was ridiculously thankful.
I played Mega Bomberman on my Mega Drive as a kid, but, in my opinion, Super Bomberman (Super Nintendo) was better. 2 players in Normal Game and more funny
@@yo_mom99 It's not actually fake, Hudson licensed it to Westone for the MD/Genesis release. Nintendo is not the developer of Bomberman game, Hudson Soft was.
@@joshuawick5382 I can't say I played every game out there, but my most vivid memories are multiplayer versus battles on Genesis. 3 players + 1 bot. I tried some other multiplayer games but its either too plain or too chaotic. Genesis version is my personal favorite so far.
I had to be like 15 when i played this gem, id get off school aslong as i wasnt in trouble, and the cartridge was finicky but when it worked, my god, this one is a classic.
The game seems to be programmatically very close to the pc engine version even down to how the music sounds (not just the compositions but some of the instrument effects like tones complimenting hi hats) but God the graphics and instrument choices leave a whole lot to be desired I know genesis has a lower on screen color palette but what the hell they picked the muddiest colors to present the first level lmao

Es algo que pasa cuando juego desde esta computadora que es nueva, no me pasaba asi en las otras. Alguien sabe como cambiar esa configuracion?

this was the best bomber man version i have played it on dreamcast ,gamecube etc this version had the little dinosaurs in multiplayer so fun
It's decent, but it's a port of Bomberman 94 for the PC Engine, on there a far superior product.

I had great fun with my siblings and the multiplayer mode. I still remember the Llama-Kangaroo-Fox hybrid powerup creature as well. Sick OST too.

Had the sega channel and this beautiful game was on it. Always prefered snes but having the sega channel made me appreciate the genesis/megabdrive

For a Sega Genesis game, the graphics could be better.
This was how Bomberman games looked at the time, they weren't about graphics, but fun in single, and especially multiplayer mode.
