I was there and thats the most miserable experience I've ever had at Beaver Stadium. Now for the fourth year in a row Penn State is at home in primetime in a revenge game. 2021 Indiana: 24-0 PSU 2022 Minnesota: 45-17 PSU 2023 Iowa: 31-0 PSU For those that think Illinois will shock us again, all you have to do as a Penn Stater is show those people clips of the three revenge games I listed above.
Penn State can only have 1 true Whiteout per year. Tough to get accurate info why, but I’m told some other entity owns the Whiteout title/naming rights, and if PSU does a second one, they’d owe some significant royalty/licensing fee. Regardless of that, there should only ever be 1 anyway. It wouldn’t be as special if there was more than one. It’s already set for Washington, so there’s zero chance of it getting moved to Illinois. Beaver stadium will be rockin’ on Saturday night anyway. I’ll be wearing white!
I hear it has to do with the Winnipeg Jets. There is a legal agreement in place for Penn State to have ONE official White Out game a year. To work around that, Penn State should just emphasize wearing white for big games. Because what happens with a hypothetical playoff game?
Yeah, I don’t understand why Wisconsin passed over the new IU coach, the new Penn State OC, the transfer qb that IU has, etc etc. We liked the guys we brought in, but, it’s not translating to the field as well and as fast as we all hoped.
It is official that Fox has the Ohio State vs Penn State game. Joel Klatt did a podcast episode back in May or June with a Fox business exec and they said that as part of the network draft they got first pick for that game.
I think Illinois both played well against nebraska and also got a little lucky with a true freshman QB facing a lot of firsts in his career. Raiola missing a wide open TD is the kind of mistakes a true freshman makes. Illinois wont be able to count on that against PSU.
Illinois post game win expectancy was 81% via analytics. Nebraska recovered 5 out of 5 fumbles and won the turnover battle. Illinois avagered more yard per pass and run as well as points per play. It was lucky that throw was missed, but they also had some bad luck mixed in the rest of the game. Even if they lost, they shouldn't be taken lightly
Illini fan here. Pen state is going to have to beat our DBS 1 on 1. Illinoi is 2nd in country with best cover 1. So we will be playing man. I think if illini wins we win by 7 if pen state wins they win by 7. Illini loves being under dogs. Don't count out illini or under estimate them
Hey those are some valid points and I think it’s going to be a great game amongst two B10 teams. I fully anticipate a fun evening for everyone. Except you. Except you and your friends and the Illini. Prepare to lose you disgusting filth. WE ARE! UNRIVALED! 1-0 1-0 1-0 🫡 🦁
I will never forget the 9 OT game, that was absolutely unreal
I was there. Exhausting experience!
Revenge time for Penn State!

@@michaelhession2105Illinois going for revenge of Penn St’s 30-13 win last year, mark it as our third revenge win of the year
Call it whatever u want....wear white and be LOUD. We're not splitting atoms here. EVERY game could be a whiteout
I think 109k+ for Kent State is crazy. Penn State fans rise to the occasion.

@@LockedOnNittanyLionshear me out, in a playoff game we blue out. Pure cinema
The Kansas game was a hone game for Illinois.
This game will be a lot closer than what people think.
about time they played someone 😅
Our schedule is quite literally harder than half of the B10 at the very start
It's not hard when teams like Ohio St have the weakest
The Illini/KU game was in Champaign this year.
I thought so. If I said otherwise, I beg your pardon.

Kent State was the perfect tune up. Illinois will be a challenge.
Why the heck would the coach’s show Warren in the backfield against Kent State?
Why not? The guy has more talent than you might think.
To put it on film. Now defenses have to account for it when Penn State shows that formation. "Oh shoot, Warren can throw it, too???"
@robertmccamman4630 he means why put it on film before you need to use it. Didn't need any of those packages against Kent state
Yes Carolina
@@Carolinabiggins because we aren’t scared and we have even more coming. So here take this and prepare for it and the next surprise too!!
What about a blue out? Under the lights it would look fine.
Illinois is more disciplined than PSU, so the score will be Illinois 24, Penn State 14

I think the spread should be about +-7. NOT 18.
Does fox not have a night slot at all
Early in the year no because of baseball, but come November once the World Series is over, then likely yes.

It’s going to be a really fun game I think it goes either way.
Got eeeem @@FranklinFanatic
Illinois does have a good secondary. But how long can that secondary cover if the DL gets little to no push?
@LockedOnNittanyLions illinois had 6 sacks against Nebraska. They were getting in back field.
What’s wrong with two whiteouts in a season?
Fans can wear whatever they want, why wait to be told what to wear.
Trade mark issues
There legally cannot be two official White Out games. However, fans are allowed to all collectively wear white.
We know we're you're super bowl. Just know you're just any other game.
Penn State fans don't even care about the actual game. Just want to know what to wear to the game 😂😂
17.5? Take illinois
I agree that it's a lot of points, but Penn State should win by double digits.
What was the spread against Bowling Green?
tOSU at night only. Nothing else comes close for 110,000 fans.
FOX needs to get that memo, haha!
@@LockedOnNittanyLions Best way to get Fox into line is NO white out this year. They will beg for one next year.
Big noon kick off sucks so bad
It has taken away from the college football atmosphere.
And now W Virginia also beat Kansas. And Nebraska always finds a way to lose.
Kansas' defense has issues. Nebraska should have won that game.
Sounds like this is going to be a low key "whiteout "
You can't keep fans from wearing white. Everyone just might happen to on Saturday at 7:30p 🤷♂
they just played three patsies as usual
Yes. Here comes another one this weekend. GO Big O&B 🟧🟦
18 points is ridiculous considering PSU got tested against BG and followed it up with a game against a Class 3A HS team.
