Awesome interview. Dev not only delivered a fantastic action film with so much heart, but he re-defined who he is as an actor forever. Huge risk, and it paid off. Hats off to Dev Patel !!
Dev is so down to earth guy. People forget how difficult it is to make this type of film is for first time director on a very low budget AND while Pandemic was at its peak.
LOVE THE MOVIE. It was a homage to all the Indian kids who grew outside India and felt outsider and portrayed as a caricature in Hollywood movies. Indians can do action. THANK YOU FOR BEING AN AWESOME REPRESENTATION OF INDIA AND INDIAN MYTHOLOGY. More to come, CHEERS TO DEV.

But I hope indian kids who grew up outside India know that there is an India beyond slums and poverty. There is a vibrant middle class as well
@@Ozukovsky they do
What an extraordinary person who has accomplished something I didn’t realize the world was ready for. Thank you!
I’ve watched a lot of these interviews bc the movie is incredible and this is by far the best one. You can tell he was genuinely hyped to speak about the movie w you and your love for the film was coming through. Respect!
Thank you for the kind words! Glad u enjoyed
This is the best interview I’ve seen for this movie and I’ve seen a lot 😅 it seemed like Dev really appreciated your thoughtful questions and all the little things you picked up on in the movie.
Thank you so much! Truly means the world to
WTF?? How’d u make this happen? Congrats man keep up the good work!
Thanks! As he said he saw my review, and they reached out to me!!
India has done so much to make this world better. Indians need to be proud. It was Hindus who starting eating like civilized people...eating vegetarian food, yoga, created Sanskrit language, meditation, chess...created zro in the number system.....so on and for forth. India has contributed so much to the world yet in the world...yet West will never talk about it.
One of the best interviews I have seen about the film! Thank you for the thoughtful questions. Dev is such an amazing human being, phenomenal actor, and has an amazing future head as a director!
Thank you 🫡 glad you enjoyed , he was a pleasure to talk to
Dev is a very humble actor. He has a big future ahead of him.
Dev seems so gracious, just a gem of a guy. Can’t wait to see where this success takes him. Congrats on the interview!
Dev is so awesome for doing this and great questions too
Great interview! You asked a lot of interesting questions that most other big outlets will never ask him. Lots of other people will ask “when is Monkey Man 2?” But it seems like this film is a unique singular story so I liked how you asked if he will he continue to tell stories like this in the future. Great work!
Thank you! And yes that was definitely the goal, super happy you enjoyed it!!
Please make a video on how you made this possible? I mean how you've got dev Patel with small following? I'm so inspired. Thank you.
As he said he saw my review!!
Such a great interview! I'm so excited for this movie
Dev is so humble and nicee.
Really really REALLY enjoyed this interview. And I love how it came to be so organically. But the thing I gotta say is random, when Dev talks about Koyla, all I could think about was that scene in JusReign's Indian Movie Theaters video. Clearly that movie has made an impact on our generation. 😂
Thank You! He was so excited to just talk to me that it made everything so fun!
the pendulum cam existed already in Abel Gances movie, Napoleon from 1927. Just a fun fact. But I was happy that Dev Patel used it.
great interview! haven't stopped thinking about this movie since i saw it last week he really made something special
Truly loved this film and how he brought in Hanuman’s story and the Ramayana.
I wish I had seen this in India because damn I would have been jumping out of my chair and whistling for so many parts of this movie.
excellent interview
SLAYING
What a dope interview, im so hyped for this movie mannnn!
Dev looks really tired tho, bro must've not slept for a long time
Very well done thoughtful interview. Great review on the movie. Once mentioned, i went to watch that first then came back to the interview (maybe link it in the description?). I'm really glad that someone who seems to get the vision of this film got to interview Dev. I hope this interview is just the beginning of many wonderful things for you and hope to see more interviews such as these from you. Good luck with your channel!
I LOVE YOU DEV!!! ❤️
He’s so fuckin fine 😢
Koyala is good reference, I can see it now
Please Release in India dev sir 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

when he said "I worship only you" I thought it was the one true God and his mother had taught him
Impressive how confident you managed to be
Thank You - also ik you are a long time supporter this means a lot man 🫡
@@AryanP I just enjoy your videos and if you keep it up a lot more people will

W
I would LOVE to see a movie that goes into the complex topic of India vs Pakistan with Dev Patel and Riz Ahmed. Omg. I would just fan girl so hard 😭😭😭
ur so real for this
Interesting I wonder why Netflix didn’t want spiritual elements in a movie inspired by the story of a Hindu god
Wow. Running away from Indian culture and felt ashamed of it. This will not go well with Indian people.
Yeah and? He said he was a kid then and grew to enjoy and embrace it
He was as a kid growing up in England made to feel as if his heritage was not up to par...and then later he realized it was...why is that his fault...blame the limeys
STOP saying Hindu mythology, sounds super colonized. Say Hindu itihasa, legends, and scriptures.
grow up
Loved this video, thank you so much for all the questions you asked Im glad that Dev is talking about the culture in the movie and his personal vision, i didnt knew anything about indian culture and now i wanna know more it looks really interesting ! I enjoyed the movie a lot and i will def come back to see it !! Supports from France
😂😂 Dev Patel thank you to really prove this we knew that you wanted to be Christian oh my god your Gujarati ancestry must be laughing out loud you possibly would have been the greatest Christian Patel Yeshu Yeshu would have been proud you don't know this in India jesus Christ is called Yash the one who makes miracle
What about Yeshua's Father Yehowah (Jehovah)?....why are you ignoring him?...Jesus said his Father was God not himself... John 14:28...I don't get you so-called "Christians"..lol
😂😂 O my God you are possibly the worst Patel of the Patel entity of the Patel life generations that's why we loved Irrfan Khan and not you rest to his soul
😂😂 yes it's a very strange way if you show the movie to your mother she is going to clap your cheeks Devi all know what your political view is don't write to make all the time make movies about it you have destroyed your country far enough you are no longer Indian as well so act like a United Kingdom citizenship owners😂😂😂 I'm sure if you would have brought this movie to George sorrows he would have funded you
