The Chinese text literally means that, a few years back there were a few strange cases of people breaking into parked buses and then driving it around (sometimes even causing accidents) so they put these labels on the cab door to try to discourage them, and is not targeted towards thieves who try to steal other people's belongings on the bus
Hi I am living near the bus stop and some KMB buses are so noisy, im trying to get some help from the departments but just curious are these buses will be gone out of service soon ?
You'd have thought that they'd have put some of these old buses on training only or in a museum but they probably won't allow it as a training vehicle like they do in Great Britain. As for a Chinese transport museum, surely someone would preserve it if a collector in the UK doesn't first 😂
Well, some of these buses were on the training duties before they went to scrap. The P reg ones, to be specific . The preservation scene had gone underground since the early 2000s due to vandalism and bad enthusiasts , but in recent years, it had gone worse from trade plates being canceled due to "unproper usage " on vehicles that were in the franchised service cause the government demanded all vehicle licenses to be canceled when they exit service, to a new law now suggesting that if a vehicle owner had fail to renew the mot for two years the licenses most be written off , so for buses preserved from the operators will no longer have the right to obtain the temporary moving permit to allow them operate on the street , or even the unlawful lifespan restrictions for all diesel powered commercial vehicles to be 15 years old , including diesel benz G wagens and land rovers , if you think all these restrictions are ridiculous. Feel free to write an email to the transport department of hong kong : tdenq@td.gov.hk Thank you for saying the good hong kong story
22:16 - oh I do love the Chinese to English translations, "bus theft may cause you regret for life" underneath the machine on the e200.
