When, in the 1990s, Fylde Borough Transport painted a number of their Atlanteans in a dark navy blue livery, they soon added a white band around the bus beneath the lower deck windows so, I believe, the buses were visible in their dark yard. In their case though, no external advertising was carried and in the darkness of the yard, the buses became virtually invisible. Presumably a number of near-misses encouraged this modification. The dark blue livery seemed to draw attention to the dried mud on the bodywork, particularly in areas difficult for the washers to clean, around rivets, for example.
Looks nice with navy dark exterior for a change with that nice big logo at the back similar to stagecoach gold having it there but liked old interior better, it felt more colourful with orange bars and logo patterned blue seats. In conclusion I'd say the beachball livery I still prefer, its more exciting & vibrant to see & can identify a stagecoach bus seen miles away in the distance knowing its a stagecoach bus with the beachball livery.
The interior looks good. I'm not a fan of the livery though, I saw one of the Manchester ones in the dark recently and it was just a series of lights floating along the road, you couldn't actually see the bus!!
Agree with the exterior livery - I think navy is a bit too conservative but I really like the accents on this. Bright orange with light blue/green stripes would be my choice for colours. Not a fan of grey on the interior either - but at least it's better than the overly garish one they had in the beachball era! Not especially a fan of the lettering on the interior , but they are clearly aiming this at people who have never ridden a bus (or hardly have). I'd go with the light blue plastic backs with orange grab poles but leave the remainder.
If the seats are comfortable then fine. But why did they have to make it grey? It just looks so boring! Livery: 6.5/10, beach ball was fine, local mid, only a high score because I quite like navy blue 😅 Interior: 3/10, as I just mentioned

Simple but I like it tbh The extra details like the spacious seats is nice

I like grey, but in bus interiors, particularly with blue seats, Stagecoach buses seem cold, drab and uninviting in appearance.

easier to keep up same for livery and interior
Hi Alex what's your dream bus to drive at you bus driving
So they have WiFi again.
Gold buses had it but they took it out.
The ‘we’ve got you’ branding is naff - why do companies feel the need to have a strapline? Fingers crossed the E300s in Hull have some seats removed!
Not that impressed, Better interiors on 15295 / 15304 South Lancashire.
This is not it, this is a major step down from the last livery. wheres all the variety of colours gone from the outside. Nice video tho
Beach ball stagecoach is better
The new black livery looks shit
