Also, I figured Id give away one of the new fly boxes. If you want to be entered to win all you have to do like the video and comment below #flybox and ill reach out to the winner in one week! Good luck and thanks for watching!
You are right, a bit of mustard and a soft cheese would be great to add flavor and thickness. You may find wild chives soon along the river banks too. Stay safe Jesse #flybox
May I suggest pyrex for the meal if you are conscious of plastics leeching chemicals into foods. And for a little spice we usually do red hot pepper flakes, or Slap Ya Mama cajun seasoning. It has salt, red pepper, black pepper, and garlic. Another good spice is smoked paprika. #flybox
As simple as it sounds a small condensed can of cream of mushroom soup adds density and flavor without much fuss. Along with everything else you had, maybe some garlic/black pepper spice you can't go wrong. Great and inspiring video as always. Keep up the good work sir. #flybox
Someone I used to watch ( can’t remember and YT removed so many accounts) dehydrated things like spaghetti and sealed them for camping meals. There’s also canned chicken , rice, etc, but for like no waste....the dehydrated food is great
Great presentation as always. Makes me want to head up to the Big Eddy or Nesowadnehunk this weekend! I think a hike into Horserace will be first though. Keep it up. Excellent editing as always.
Jesse, thought you might have been at the TU event in Portland last week. Would have been great to meet you in person. Love seeing the spots you’re fishing. Great content.#fly box
Could you do a Overland build video or a video of your truck? I’m just curious how much gear can you fit in an extended cab over a crew cab. I’m looking to buy a truck in a couple of months not new though.
Thanks Alan! Also congrats, you won the giveaway! Shoot me a email (mainelyoutdoors18@gmail.com) With your shipping information and I'll have that on the way for you.
@@MainelyOutDoors Keep up the great videos. Much enjoyed. I myself go out by myself and camp and fish. I just finished the Detroit, Oregon Fishing Derby last weekend. 🐟🎣❤️
@@rustydaley4302 Shoudl be fishign good now my next trip that will come out in a few weeks I had much more luck! The fishing are definitely in the rivers now
Other then the fish you catch best part is your food when I'm at camp hunting turkey deer bear don't matter it seems like most of my money goes to food but learning these quick meals is nice. How and what do you use to make your jerky one of my favorite things to bring but everytime I make it I let my dog eat it cuz I can't do it right. Any suggestions? I don't have a dehydrator I usually just use my cook stove on really low heat but it either comes out to raw or so hard I don't wanna break my teeth lol #flybox

@@aarondavies8486 interesting I'v never heard of that. Not sure it would eb a good fit in the bed of the truck but ill look into it
Truly enjoy your videos, very professional! Love the outdoors.. #flybox
Love your videos! Hopefully we'll see some more of your adventures soon.
Good Stuff!
Professional quality video, very nice.
Add a package of the beefy onion soup mix instead of the beef bouillon, that would help thicken the stroganoff and give it a lot more flavor
Excellent video 👍
Thanks glad you liked it!
Hey if you see this I recommend using a gravy packet mix for the sauce instead of the boulion and a coffee creamer or 2 should be better than that lol
Happy to see you not get skunked. Those stoneflies have been good to you. #flybox
Me too! they definitely are a great pattern!
great video Jesse, and congrats on becoming a Maine Guide nice job.
Never seen you remember a fork. Starting to think you like using a stick haha. Awesome Vid! #flybox

Just recently found you. I grew up in Maine but have lived in NC since the USAF moved me here in 1990. Enjoy your channel very much.

That beef stroganoff would be great with teriyaki venison or moose and a sharp shredded cheddar cheese.

The best way ive found to spice up trail food is to literally spice it up. I usually carry some hot sauce packets or a small jar of it. #flybox

I had some too not sure why i didn’t put any in

I'm guessing between Greenville and Baxter State Park
