I love rewatching all of these. Such a privilege to see him working and to hear this thought process. He’s such a brilliant artist but one who also talks about painting so well. The Artemis moon rocket was launched this morning but seeing Hockney paint is a better spectacle and statement about what really counts. A great reminder that actually it’s the most important thing in the world really.
Glad you've liked them, I appreciate the feedback. There is plenty of material to make more, but I've yet to find a way of bringing in any funding, let alone recouping what I've spent! All suggestions welcome... Indeed the only revenue comes from streaming the two Hockney documentaries, and that remains modest. Please spread the word. All donations will go to a good cause! Cheers, Bruno
Yes, thanks for the clips. I love listening to Mr. Hockney’s insight and opinion about art, technique, etc. So, what am I going to watch now? Each evening I’ve looked forward to the video. Will there be 90 for 90, please?

@@colugapictures7529 I know I watched originally on Netflix or Prime. Is the film still streaming there? With more folks home and streaming, perhaps it would be more rev. generating now. Is there a site for donations? I have watched the Elton John concerts a couple of times on TH-cam and always donate a little as the big button is right there in the window. Can you add a button? Some of us would chip in. Will his galleries support your films? I know I enjoy watching Messum's videos of featured artists. I guess he's reached a point in his career where they don't have to work very hard to sell his works! Thanks again for your efforts to educate us!
@@mpratt As far as I know, 'A Bigger Picture' was only streamable on Vimeo, though possibly in the USA it was/is on Netflix. I can't see the galleries doing any sponsorship - you're right that the work sees so well their main focus is persuading DH to send some their way! There is a Donate button if you get to the final credits on Vimeo, but probably most people by then have moved on. Certainly no donations have come that way, sadly. I'll go have a look at how Elton J does it... Thanks for the thoughts. Best, Bruno
@@colugapictures7529 I think it was streaming. If not, I must have watched a DVD then. I know it was a DVD for 'A Bigger Splash. ' I will watch it again on Vimeo!
@@mpratt Too kind! If you still have the DVD for 'A Bigger Picture', a product for which there suddenly appears to be little or no market, it has an hour of Extras which I keep meaning to make available to stream... But will I recoup the £150?! Can I afford not to...
Oh dear. That's surprising. This link is from Vimeo and says it accepts Visa, MasterCard, Paypal etc. vimeo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/224978548-Managing-your-membership-and-payment-methods Good luck and thanks, Bruno

Thank goodness these were recorded, they are precious cameo's of Hockney at work in the field,Van Gogh must be smiling and looking down upon him.
He would love to hear that!
Brilliant! There's so much here. Thank you for sharing these outtakes. Shame it's over. I could watch one every day.
Thanks, much appreciated. Spread the word! Get people to watch the main doc!
