I think it does a good job of teaching Elden Ring boss rhythms and windows to show how it's a bit different from other DS styled games. I like the Crucible Knight fight for sure.
I completed elden ring 28 times the dlc 4 times i still find new items wich is amazing cuz i have plat trophy and 4k+hours i played just like you blind and in my opinion this by far the best first pkaytrough of any streamer time to watch part 7 and all of them u amazing new sub
"...I don't really wanna be in the vicinity of resurrecting skeletons..." Keeps running towards the skeletons.. :D :D Just found the channel, great videos by the way, loving the blind Elden Ring series. :)
One of my favorite NPC lines, "Anticipate grievances, young apprentice." 😄 Great moment with Yura. Dude seems like a homie. Ignoring Boc and Killing Patches... you're really aiming to be a fan favorite, aren't you? 🤣 CK is like lifting weights. I will hurt, but it will make you better at the game. CK is, in my opinion, one of the best From enemies ever. It tests the player's discipline like very few others. Looking forward to the GG on that one.
That line always felt like the translators weren't exactly sure what word they meant in the Japanese and thought "grievances... Close enough" 😂. Boc really is the man. I'm glad Achenar figured that out.
Watching blind elden ring playthroughs is kind of a passtime of mine, and I gotta say you're my favorite so far! you play the game in the same exact way I do!. Being meticulous about everything is the only way to play fromsoft games for me. Looking forward to watching the entire thing!
1:34:00 - I wager it is safe to say you really don't like Patches. Ah well, you can see what you missed with him in a future playthrough where you don't execute him when he begs you for mercy. ;)
I get your frustration about how someone spoiled Patches for you. I had a similar situation recently with the DLC where I watched a DS1 video. First few seconds of it had a boss I had not yet faced or known about. That's why I'd recommend you steer clear of anything Fromsoft on youtube, it's a bit of a crapshoot whether you're going to get spoiled! I hope I can catch up on the videos before you get to SOTE.
That trap chest got me before I even had Torrent. It brutal escaping that mine in Caelid but funny now that it is over. I also confused why I couldn’t warp. The trigger is that you need to get out and touch a site of grace. That’s when I could teleport again.
You had a worthy idea about the chest on the rolling coffin wagon the trolls are pulling. I encourage you not to give up on the notion. There are more variables to try out still. Also...where else might you have seen more of these wheeled coffin wagons? Relatedly, I appreciate that this game is very good about giving us visual cues towards things we are meant to notice. There is often a shiny, a light, a torch, or an anomaly of some sort in front of or nearby something else we are meant to notice. It doesn't hold our hand, but it very often does give us clues and pointers for those who like to pay attention to environmental details. They added the arteria leaf shiny nearby where Boc is hidden as a bush in a patch, and extended the range to trigger his, "Oy! Hey you!" because people weren't finding him reliably enough. If you look back, the tree he was was the only brown one in a sea of green trees. Very subtle tips sometimes.
Glad you are enjoying the playthrough! Btw I have figured out the chests/wagons situation at this point, but going forward I would ask not to offer nudges or hints. I'll address this more in the next video, but I really enjoy the process of figuring things out for myself (even if that means sometimes I don't figure them out). And I do ask my mods to be pretty strict on this, so if one of your comments ever does get purged don't take it personally :)
@@AchenarTV You got it. My apologies. I do now understand you are going for a purely blind experience and enjoy figuring everything out yourself, even struggling with that process. I will refrain from any further nudges or suggestions in any form. I guess that leaves us only with the option to react, rather than interact, which is tough for me to do, since I love being helpful No worries. Your playthrough and style is a pleasure.
Have enjoyed your journey in lands between quite a bit! If u haven't found out yet you can use ashes always when tombstone icon is shown on the left.. ashes can be used more than once but only once per fight. Looking forward to be able to watch all the episodes you've recorded already and beyond.
You can’t waste spirit ashes, you can use them one time per rest I believe, so basically it’s impossible for them to run out it’s like a sorcery as long as u have blue tears you’re good.
:0...rip Patches...you were the real one out of all these tarnished
Achenar had no chill here 😂. And yeah, RIP to the untethered homie.
Patches had it coming
Crucible Knight is such a tough lesson in patience lol, but I really enjoy the fight. May fresh brain prevail!
I loved learning that fight! So hard, so satisfying, so very much Souls.

1:48:25 - I gotta hand it to you...your comedic timing is impeccable.
I do wonder sometimes how many people are like, "dude this guy is just scripting everything" lol
poor patches...... may he know mercy in another life o7
I regret nothing.

Wait a minute. It just occured to me. A katana-wielding samurai throwing fire. Has the Shura infiltrated the Lands Between?!
AHAHAHA brilliant

I've really been enjoying your playthrough bro, I'll definitely be checking out the rest of your library

Not just touch the grace, you have to rest !
Very interesting for you linger your zoom at 34:10
Welp, I was gonna sleep, but...
