This is Swahili. Much love from a Tanzanian brother. It's joy to hear our language sang in global platforms.
Having sung in more than 15 different languages, I find that Swahili is one of the most emotionally intense. a perfect language for singing
Baba Yeti means "Notre père" or "our father"...
Abraços fraterno do Brasil 🇧🇷🤗👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This is absolutely the kind of events that’s make me continue to believe in humanity ❤
T'as l'air d'avoir aucune personnalité...

It's à song and à show bro, calm down
Epic! Deep! Leaves me so nostalgic 😪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪The Song is Swahili 'Baba Yetu'. (our father) derived from the Lords Prayer . The Tenor also performed in Christopher Tin's Orchestra the Cadogan Hall, London with another East African song 'Waloyo Yamoni' ( We overcame the Wind). Excellent performance and well deserving of the golden buzzer❤️
Waloyo Yamoni is a Ugandan song not just an East African song. Give credits where due
Love his voice!
As a tanzanian i feel proud for Swahili language 🇹🇿🇹🇿
As a French from indian ocean, its beautiful
Hii ni kweli au edit ??
Presque 20ans ce chant... Heureux qu'il est enfin sa reconnaissance 🙂
Slt , quoi de plus BEAU ......la DIVERSITÉ 👍👍👍👍👍👍 et BRAVO 👏👏👏👏👏👏 . Gloire au PÈRE Amen 🙏🙏🙏
Give us this day our daily bread. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the GLORY. FOREVER. AMEN!
This is Baba Yetu composed by Christopher Tin. It is THE Lord's Prayer in Swahili and it is magnificent! HIS is the glory.
Vive la démocratie, la liberté 🗽
Vive la vie.
Fantastic
Really Swahili
Baba yetu oliye mbinguni ...
I feel so proud as one of Congolese language ...
baba yetu (in Swahili) =(Our Father (in english))=(Notre Père in French )... with reference to GOD ; This song is simply the setting to music of the famous Christian prayer "Our Father": Matthew 6:9-13
Amazing 🤩🥰
Grata por seu compartilhamento 🙏🏽🤗🙏🏽
Wow I'm so amazed. Glory to GOD, Must be Glorified by Everyone, Every Culture Worldwide.
I love this song they do it great justice !! congratulations to Sue and the choir, the male soloist is gorgeous !!
C'est un merveilleux chant ! Que Dieu vous bénisse
My Swahili. Omg! That's the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Amina!!!!
It's written by Christopher Tin. He made the song for the soundtrack to Civilization IV, a video game. He is an amazing composer.
So what were the words. Maybe translate it for everyone.
@@reflectionsinthebible3579 It's the "our father" prayer it translates like the english version.
@@reflectionsinthebible3579 the Lords prayer in Swahili, "Baba" means Father, so Baba yetu uliye mbinguni" is Our Father who art in Heaven.
@@ericchen1819 and it's a prayer first off
This was a beautiful praise swaili song.
Much love from kenya❤️🇰🇪
WAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW.. MY SWAHILI LANGUAGE.... WORLDWIDE.. BABA YETU ULIYE MBINGUNI. "Our Heavenly Father" So proud
Amazing. A wall of sound that can only come from many talented voices singing in precise harmony. In highschool our largest choir was 212 voices the year I was in Grade 12. There is a very special feeling being part of a group like that. Even more amazing was the Christmas Concert and Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. All the music department students were on stage in a massed choir/orchestra. 750 musicians on stage, and any music alumni in the audience were invited to join. You could have as many as 1,000 performing in an auditorium that sat 700 in the audience. Goosebumps just thinking of it.
As a Kenyan listening to this hits different 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Baba yetu uliye mbinguni
Our Father who art in heaven...

Amazing! I wish I could sing in a choir like this. They are very unique.
A bit sad that it's a shortened version cuz this Song is really great. Can only recommend to hear the full version of it: Baba Yetu by Christopher Tin, performed by Angel City Choir
Small correction: Angel City Chorale 😉
I love choral music… God bless you guys
wouah!

Didn't they literally perform The Drop That Contained The Sea with Christopher Tin? I recognize the solo singer from Waloyo Yamoni.
You are right, this is the opening song of the video game Civilization 4.Opening song created by Christopher Tin
@blick MalcolmX I mean, the Angel City Chorale literally performed Baba Yetu with Christopher Tin, the composer, directing them years before this audition. They also performed The Drop That Contained The Sea with him directing them. That would be like having Jim Steinman teach you how to perform Bat Outta Hell, then going on America's Got Talent, a show meant to expose new talent.
Babyetu is Lord's prayer by Tin yes
@@talzane5475 wasnt it this coir who christopher tin recordet with, for the civilization 4 game, whitch the won the first grammy every, for a video game song?
@@talzane5475 Yes it's the choir which performed 2016 in the Cardigan Hall with Mr. Ti (Royal Phil Orchestra & Angel City Chorale). The singer is Jimmer Bolden.

Brilliant, just brilliant!👏
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
