You actually have to have started the quest with Talos Drellik in order for this guide to work.
It is also assumed that you have finished the first half of the mission by finding the missing
jewel for the medallion as the quest line explains to you.

If anyone is still having problems with this quest do exactly whats going on in this video but before placing all the tablets in their place go to the back of the cave with the sith medallion. Where it says "Something is watching you" activate the medallion and it will call out some champion level flying thing. When you kill it it should give you a piece of jewelry. Then in the mission items menu click it to combine it and the medallion then go back to the chest and place the tablets. It should work then.
Thank you for stating this, because people don't read the description on videos anymore, and because I haven't played the game since making this video I have no way of knowing if a patch changed the way it was completed.
+BroodyElf22 oh you know these people, they're allergic to reading descriptions. but the thing is I don't need to read it because the first time I did this I already did that before watching your video so I figured that since the box wasn't glowing that was the key

Got it figured out.
In case you aren't sure which part of the cave specifically, to the left of where the Sith artifact is there should be a ruined altar. Approach it and wait for the on screen message, then activate the medallion.
For anybody still having issues, interact with the crystal that you have in your inventory before touching the artifact with the medallion.

@@61mikali Late reply but I'm talking about the Sith Medallion Crystal that you get by killing the Champion Stoneray in the cave. It should be in your mission items after you get it.

It still doesnt work even wheb combined and all the tablets in order

You have to go into mission items in your inventory and put the jewel back into the medallion after goin to the back of the cave and waving it around where it says "something is watching you" you kill the flying mob, then loot the jewel from the champ mob, then open inventory, go to mission items and right click on the jewel. Then do whats in this video, and it will work.
1. Interact with quest start
2. Go to cave
3. Interact with body (victory tablet will now be interactable)
4. Leave cave and interact with victory tablet and loot it from massassi that spawns
5. Go to the back of the cave until you get a message saying you are being watched. Use the medallion temporary ability. Fight and loot stoneray that spawns.
6. Open inventory then mission items tab. Use the crystal.
7. Interact with artifact. Examine artifact. Place tablets in order. Passion, strength, power, victory, broken chains. (screen will shake when done correctly)
8. Then do the options: Interact with a different slot. Do something else. Try things involving the sith medallion. Try touching the sith medallion to the surface of the artifact.
9. (Bonus) after using the artifact Interact with dormant holocron in the area you fought the stone talon.
if it is still not working then reset the quest in the mission log and try again.

3 объеденить осколок амулета с амулетом.
4 вставить в слоты скрижали в таком порядке:
1 слот - страсть
2 слот - сила
3 слот - власть
4 слот - победа
5 слот - разрыв оков (свобода).
И последнее:
5 приложить амулет к алтарю. Поговорим с монстром решим его судьбу.

This was usefull ^^
So for all those wondering: the quest is still buggy.
First off: even IF you place the tablets into the device in the correct order, somehow, sometimes the victory tablet lands in BOTH the 4th AND the 5th even though you only put it into the fourth slot.Workaround: simply switch instances, after it should work.
Secondly if you have by chance or dumb luck activated the stupid artifact, sometimes the cave you get ported to is empty. Conveniently the video ends before this part of the quest. you can check if that happend to you simply by looking in the mission tracker, the quest should still be active, there should however not be a single objective (so only the orange part of the quest should be visible). There is no workaround here that i can tell, instance change, relog, praying.... you are a lucky winner of someone going to restart the quest completely, I sincerely hope i could help :)
The convenient end you refer to is because I got to the cave and it worked, I stopped the video short even though it did go on for a bit longer is because at the time I was having a conversation with a former guild member and having the chat closed for recording was tedious, and it was quite frankly none of anyone's business. So the conspiracy theory that mine didn't work either if that is what we are eluding to, is weightless. The game is just a big buggy mess however, even if I managed to escape most of them.
@@BroodyElf22 oh you missunderstood, i wasn't eluding to that :D I just meant it doesn't show how it SHOULD look like, you know as a negative to the the positive of a picture. But since none of the previous people actually described their bugs and only gave vague descriptions i thought i might add a comment that actually gives some information since this is pretty much the first video that comes up when searching for solutions.

So many people are still leaving negative comments on this video after about 5 years, and I've already deleted a few, I guess I'm a bit defenseive when people make comments like this. I'd pin your comment but I've already got another helpful one pinned so not much i can do about that. It's worth noting that I haven't touched this game in 5 years as well after the devs decided you should be able to lose ownership of your own guild(not logging on and passing ownership, etc.), even if it is just you and a few friends. So since I've lost real money, 5 years of hard work with strongholds and etc. it's clear good decision making isn't in their plans going forward. So I wish anyone still playing a hearty goodluck!

did you kill the creature holding the sith medallion crystal? when you put that in the medallion you find on the body in front of the relic box for the tablets the box you summon the relic keeper with will glow. it's found behind the relic box you put the tablets in. wander around until the message about the medallion appears

just wondering why, that after killing the keeper and getting the victory tablet, when i re-enter the cave i can still interact with the corpse, anyone know why thats happening? i have everything i got from the corpse

I tried it and there was no tablet of victory to put into the fourth slot

u need to go outside the cave and west until you reach an altar with an object on it called Relic Keeper's, interact with it and a Massassi Relic Keeper should attack you. Loot it to get the Tablet of Victory. because you have the relic of victory, but not the tablet
and that's it, I just finishd it and u get a new follower like khem
Figured it out
you forgot a step, need to get the crystal near the red door from the champion bird dude.
It was patched after I made the video ages ago and I have no intention of updating the video with a new recording but thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention

John Shepard I found a fix. goto behind the box near the daily area. when you see the red text pop up on your screen use the sith medallion and it will spawn an enemy. kill it and it drops a crystal which u place in the medallion

I believe you have to interact with the box first and start the exact mission I was on, unless you did, then in which case there must have been a patch or something that fixed the mission after I made this video.

The numbers represent the key (keyboard) or the number listed on the screen, following this will unlock the chest.
1 - Interact with the first slot
2 - Place a tablet in the first slot
5 - The Tablet of Passion
3 - Interact with a different slot
2 - Interact with the second slot
2 - Place a tablet in the second slot
4 - The Tablet of Strength
3 - Interact with a different slot
3 - Interact with the third slot
2 - Place a tablet in the third slot
1 - The Tablet of Power
3 - Interact with a different slot
4 - Interact with the fourth slot
2 - Place a tablet in the fourth slot
8 - The Tablet of Victory
3 - Interact with a different slot
5 - Interact with the fifth slot
2 - Place a tablet in the fifth slot
6 - The Tablet of Broken Chains
4 - Try something else entirely
2 - Try (things involving the Sith medallion)
2 - Try (touching the Sith medallion to the surface of the artifact)
important! dont do at the end try someting else entirely, do try someting else with the slots! else it celares everything you did with the tablets
i did all of these in order, nothing happened

I'm sorry if your mission is bugged but as you can see in my video by defeating the Massassi I obtained the tablet of victory.
