  • Biscayne Point is an island neighborhood that has plenty of waterfront homes in Miami Beach Florida. It's one of my favorite neighborhoods in Miami Beach and is only about 8 blocks away from the beach! The houses here range anywhere from 650k all the way up to 5 million.

    My husband is an electrical contractor on Coronado island in San Diego. He said the inspections can be frustrating. Check out Coronado, California off of the coast of San Diego (it’s really a peninsula) on Google maps. Expensive and beautiful area!

    • @MichaelBordenaro
      @MichaelBordenaro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the inspections are good because it gives you an idea of what you’re getting into but some people just don’t realize that a lot of old houses are going to need some work and when you’re spending a lot of money on the house what’s the big deal about spending just a little more. I just googled Coronado I definitely haven’t been to that part of San Diego yet. Next time!

    Wow how cool that I just told you last week that I grew up on Biscayne Point, (when I first found you and subscribed to your channel )and that my parents owned my childhood home there for 50 yrs. When they sold it about 8 yrs ago it was demolished and a beautiful two story home is now on our old lot. It is 1811 Cleveland Rd on the Wide Bay side!! I was hoping that you would take a walk on BP since I recently saw that you took a walk on Normandy Isle and all I had to do was go back to your older Videos...Back in the day the R Bus came onto the island but doesn't any more and when I missed the bus it was a mile walk from Biscayne Elem to my house We were about as far back as you could go near Biscayne Point Circle. Back to watching to see if you walk past the house that is now on our lot....LOL...I just found it at 21:40 you commented that "it is a beautiful yard and a beautiful house", and I agree ... they really did do a great job when they demolished our old ranch style home and rebuilt that house. The owner now she is on my FB and she sent be a picture of all the dust from when the Champlain Tower collapsed, I Never realized that we could see that high rise from my old back yard if we looked to the right. I mention this only because it was because I was watching your video when it first collapsed and that is how I found you taking a walk in my old hood. Our son who is just a couple of yrs younger then you, had just been with our grandson visiting my dad who is living in Bay Harbor now, and a neighbor of ours on BP had a staycation at the towers that my dad had access to when he wanted to go to the Beach. He took my son and 5 yr old grandson there a mos before it happened and my son commented that he noticed when he was in the parking garage that it seemed that the building needed a lot of work. He also noticed in the lobby a notice on the Bulletin Board talking about the work that needed to be done. And then a mos later the building went down. So so horrible and lives were lost that were related to many people that I grew up with down there... Hard to believe that it has already been a yr. That is about the biggest tragedy that I know of that has ever happened in the neck of the woods where I grew up. I love that you said that you would live on BP.... back in the 60's and 70's when I grew up there it was really a close knit community and a such great place to live. I wish I Had not taken it for granted....LOL....

    • @MichaelBordenaro
      @MichaelBordenaro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

His house was diagonally across the street from ours and at 47:40 you said "that is an interesting house and unique to the area", it is brown owner is Felix. They are actually hoping to sell it in a few yrs and move to our area in Bradenton. They were at my dads bday party back in Oct when we were down there to celebrate. They may be a good family to prospect

      It is pretty awesome living right on the beach. Sometimes it's hard to believe I've been living on the ocean for the past 13 years. But I can also appreciate a house since I grew up in a house and after all these years living here on the ocean I wouldn't mind the change but still being nearby. Although I'm not complaining it is great and not having to worry about any maintenance is a huge perk!

    Hi Michael, Here’s a question for you. I use to live in Ft Lauderdale. I’m on a fixed income. I desperately want to move back to Fl. What can you fine for me in the price range of 6 hundred a month? Even a nice Mobil home. I know this sounds so unrealistic but since you are a realtor and you would have access to different properties I really hoping you can look for something. I’m alone so one bedrm is fine.. Thanks for your time.

      Hi Sharon I don’t do rentals like those however if I were you I would use realtor.com or zillow.com and be open to the entire state and filter properties out to your maximum budget and see what comes up👌 good luck!!
