Bal Harbour Florida is an absolutely gorgeous little village just north of Miami Beach and Surfside. I like to call it the "Beverly Hills of Miami" for its similar style, look and feel. But it is surprisingly affordable to live here compared to the real Beverly Hills. In this video you'll get a feel of what the village of Bal Harbour is like in real life as well as my take on what it costs to live here.

You can create a series of videos for each neighborhood in the Miami beach !! then all people will love to check out your series before moving here. Plus I like that you share the best spot in your opinion from a sightseeing perspective !!!

My daughter is graduating this May with her masters in speech and language pathology . God bless her and all of our graduates at every level . Anyway , she plays the walking tours in the background too . Low volume of course . It’s beautiful and helps our brains make feel better chemical according to her .💚🧡💙💛

A house tour in the gated community at 12:30 sounds good plus the narration is awesome. I've seen other walking tours videos in Miami with no narration and like you said it makes the video boring.

I’ve watched quite a few videos of that other channel that shows the boats going in and out. Some pretty crazy stuff, both in terms of the boats themselves (multi-million $ yachts) and in terms of the folly of taking some of the small boats out in rough weather. But you can learn a lot too; like matching the speed of the boat to the movement of the swells. Great stuff, but after you’ve seen 20 such videos you’ve seen it all.
I'm with you on that. It is entertaining for a while, but it can get old, bc its basically the same video different day

Also if Mike doesnt mind, there is a channel called Haulover Boats which broadcasts from the inlet everyday and is live sometimes. Im actually surprised they werent there in this video filming

Is the beach in front of the big buildings public access there? Never thought about bal harbour, but after this walking tour, it looks more interesting. I haven’t been to bal Harbour shops in probably 8 years! It’s always nice to walk around there. Cool video, thanks!

Yes it is public and you can park right in that area under the bridge no problem and go to the beach. I would definitely consider living in Bal Harbour 👌 it’s a fantastic area and really not so expensive for the quality of life there
Also Haulover beach is on the other side of the inlet which is a public park with tons of parking. Dont let the nudies scare you off though

My dad and I always bring up the the time back in the early 70's when we went out on our boat and how choppy it was going under the Haulover Brdige. It was one of my scariest rides in our boat ever, and my dad didn't admit it back then but he was scared out of his mind also, and will admit that now.. It is supposedly the most dangerous inlet in Fl. but has the most boat traffic in the United States.
Ha! There are even YT channels that are dedicated to filming all the boat incidents that happen on the inlet
Looks like South Orange County CA, took a walk through Bal Harbour in February of 2020. Nice area, one of the things I like about Floriduh is that the sky is always blue. Everything is so bright, colors are really vibrant. Unlike SoCal where we have days when smog is so strong it’s like fog. Bruh yes do Sunny Isles and finish the bid like here on the pier on a sunny bright day 😊😊😊

We do have our gray and overcast days here but mostly in the summer. Winters are always gorgeous in Florida. Sunny Isles will definitely be coming up👌
Im not in that income bracket, but I stayed at a 5 star hotel in Bal Harbor...back in the 90s.
Its amazing. 94 degrees in Miami does not feel like 94 degrees in Philadelphia.

This is such a great video, Michael! Thank you for making it. I had requested it if you, and you delivered. Shows you care about the people who watch your channel. You really listen. Anyway, I had always wanted to see Bal Harbour this way. I appreciate your taking the time to walk us through the area and share info with us, as you walked. I don’t like those videos where people walk, but don’t add any commentary. A missed opportunity to share history and other information on their part.

Hi Michael! We are looking to relocate from N. Calif to FL. Can you tell me the pros & cons of living on the gulf vs Atlantic side of FL?
There are probably too many to name in a comment but a couple I would say is the gulf waters tend to be not as nice as the Atlantic waters. Also, most of the west coast is geared towards retirees, whereas that is less the case on the east coast. I did some vids a while back showing the different oceanfront condos for sale on both coasts, I recommend watching those videos to see what both sides have to offer 👍

Show some SFR sample homes below 250k for sale in that area if they exist. Coops are a disaster to invest in for rentals.
They don't exist. To get into a house in Bal Habour you're looking at $3 million! And there are never that many for sale, since there are not too many Houses to begin with

I can’t remember it’s been a while since I published this but I remember the question about the co-op financing. I have heard that you can get financing for in NYC but for some reason here in Florida most lenders won’t touch them
@@MichaelBordenaro yes, that’s what you said in the video. You were curious about NYC and said Miami area doesn’t like to finance so you gotta buy cash. Here in NY the banks lend money for co ops. Never been an issue as far as I know
