I actually use Google Forms a bit too. My local group runs courses for Beginners etc and I use forms to get feedback from participants to make our course better. We sometimes have to nag a bit via email to get people to respond but they can be anonymous on their comments so I'm sure that helps.
Lisa, Thank you for sharing your passion about genealogy. I too love learning about ancestors and all of the stories. I had never heard of Google Keep so thank you for that tip.
I'm in a Mac, I use Google a lot. It has a "google drive" app to download to my Mac. iPhones have the same to launch as an app. I don't use their photo section of "the waffle" (the 9 dots in upper right of google on my Mac). I mainly use "Sheets" (like Excel). I don't necessarily sync to an app on my computer but if you Google It 😂 I'm sure the how to is there.
@@PatriciaColeman-tn3zg Thanks. I’ve never used any of them. I use Pages for my word processing. Don’t know what the drive, docs, or sheets are. I do fine as, but who knows what’s down the road. If I need to send a document out, I just make it a pdf. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Google Drive automatically OCRs all files and makes them searchable - I have many thousands of images of German Catholic Church records written in the old script - Google Drive allows me to search these images by Surname, Location, etc - I have photos of local cemeteries, I use Google Drive to search for names, etc on these markers

Thank you. Good suggestions.

As I'm do not have a Mac, it's nice to hear how a Mac user does it. Thanks !
Thank you for your generous informative video.
Is there any major difference between Google Sheets and Excel?
They are very similar to work with. Excel is part of the microsoft office tools which must be purchased. Not everyone has that.
I use google photos. Trying to use Google docs not sure what I'm doing?
Syncs up to MACs too?
I use Google sheets, drive and docs on my Mac all the time.
Yes!

Being only a MAC user, I’m not familiar with those you’ve mentioned.
Google access really has nothing to do with you having a Mac.
Exactly, it's not a Mac vs PC thing. Access to Google tools is web based and not dependent upon your system.
