Using two AI tools with the same prompt is a great way to explore their features and decide on which one to use for your specific project. Interestingly, I am more likely to use Chat GPT Canvas for planning my genealogy projects, Perplexity for gathering historical context, whilst I use Claude Sonnet for a more nuanced narrative response.

I found if I did a Google search of "1940 earthquake in California valley" I found quite a few listings. Some are govt sites so no charge for the info... Happy hunting.
