Thanks Keats! And there are even more ALs in that region now; it's pretty easy to spend your day exploring highlights of Vancouver by Adventure Labs now.
Thanks Cache Canada! Appreciate the feedback and viewing. ALs sure are a hot topic. I think people want to put out the best ones they can, and there is still plenty of great locations...
Pro Tip: don't choose a location that is about to undergo renovation and/or construction. I've been mulling a series of caches in downtown Tacoma. When I was awarded my Adventure Lab, I figured it would be a perfect fit...when I went out (mid-COVID) to get my final readings and devise my questions I found that 2 of the 5 locations (and the walking route between them) had disappeared behind construction fencing...back to the drawing board.
Good tip! Might be hard to predict when an area will be subject to renovations or construction, but it's good to avoid if possible. I wonder what tips people have if your location goes under construction after your AL is published?🤔 Thanks Dan!👍
Awesome pointers on ALs! I think it's funny that I read somewhere online (Reddit or FB) that people were wanting the ALs to be more difficult to complete. What? That's absurd!
I guess there's people interested in everything. But personally, I don't feel "more difficult to complete" = better. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts, Komikino.
Nice timing on this video! I was just awarded my second adventure lab about an hour ago, so now I will put the tips in this video into motion while I create my next adventure lab set!
Great video…I really like adventure labs! You and others have mentioned not wanting for people to armchair their answers and I was of the impression that’s not possible anyway bc the question isn’t even revealed until getting within a certain proximity. That is a great feature, makes it more fun. Am I right about that?
Thanks for watching & commenting Aaron. Great question about armchairing Adventure Labs. It is possible to armchair them if you know how to "spoof" you phone's location and you can figure out the answers to the questions. The real question is how much do you really want to worry about that? At what point is someone making the AL so difficult to "fake out" that the experience is no longer enjoyable for the average visitor? I'll be discussing that in an upcoming NEW video all about great ideas for AdventureLabs coming soon!
1. Don't make your questions too easy. 2. Try to vary the style of your questions, i.e. don't make them all find answer on a sign. 3. Provide an idea of how long it should take to do the lab.
Excellent tips!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching & the feedback!
Very well done! Great tips! Looks like quite the adventure lab marathon you went on!

Nice job with the different tips and narration. Adventure Labs are a hot commodity right now and people are yearning for information.
