Truth... I have been training for decades, and the truly great training partners I've had can be counted on one hand. I cherish each and every one of them.
WOOF! In 1993, the 12-man Special Operations Response Team I led at our high security jail reviewed what you and Marc Denny were putting out along these lines and decided - "You know what, we 12 are going to kit up and TEST our theories - "higher consciousness through harder contact," and we trusted each other to NOT hold back in these full contact with minimal protection tests, as lives were at stake for what we would conduct during interventions, against inmates with shanks and makeshift weapons. During training we sent each other to the hospital on a regular basis - but respected and grew to love the training and each other. We were never sent to the hospital by the inmates, because in practice, we proved what would or would not work. Great Stuff - and a SHOUT out to Dogzilla, as I know he worked in the corrections environment, a proving ground for much of what will or will not work in reality.
