🔴 hi guys, i completely forgot to mention that like all other puzzles i solve, i haven’t looked at the picture yet, while solving this! This part was done completely blind, to make it more challenging. 😅
Hello Ric! This is what i was waiting for, a proper video about how to start solving large jigsaws. You have given me so much hope that i will now attempt to solve a 4000 puzzle i have been saving for months. Thank you, i will follow your steps religiously.
Hi Ric!! Wow your organizational skills for this puzzle is outstanding! You make it look so easy! Your puzzle trays you made are perfect for this one, with all the cubbies, very nice indeed!! This puzzle will look stunning on the wall behind your tv! Thank you for sharing! Interesting video! Looking forward to part two 😊😊
Hello Marlene 😀 Always such a joy to hear your opinion, thanks for enjoying this puzzle and the video, i cannot wait to share the final part too and hang this beast on the wall 😁 so nice to know you also admire this kind of puzzles!! 🧩 thanks again
Awesome job so far with this beast of a puzzle. I'm going to be working on my first 3K count puzzle soon and even though I'm very excited about it, I'm super nervous at how that big pile is going to make me feel when I have to sort it for the first time 😱😱 Can't wait for part two!
Oh my! Look who is here!!! So nice of you to come by Mandy, thank you so much. (And sorry i haven’t checked your latest videos yet too!) i can’t wait to see what you have in store for your 3k puzzle!
What a lovely puzzle. Thanks for showing strategies for solving larger puzzles. I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to do one of such similar colours. My largest is 2000 and is a Britto, which I think will be a lot easier than this.
Hi 50sRockChick! So cool to hear that you have found this video useful somehow, it makes me truly happy! I know what you mean in regard to the colours here but honestly, if you go easy and don’t get tangled up with bits and pieces everywhere i think you can do it! Thanks again for your valuable feedback!
Hi Puzzling_Art! That is a good to know, larger puzzles do give us a much bigger sense of achievement dont they 😁 glad to know you also enjoyed the video! Do you mind if i ask what your 3k puzzle was? Thanks for the coffee too by the way, i really appreciate that!
Love watching you assemble this puzzle and I am looking forward to part two. I always enjoy watching your videos while I am working on a puzzle myself as they are so relaxing. I have pulled out my Eurographics 1000 piece puzzle called Map of the World to work on while watching you assemble your map puzzle. One day I will have to try an antique map puzzle as they look enjoyable to assemble too. Thanks again for the videos and all the helpful tips!
Hello bperillo, it is so nice to hear that you played my video in the background while solving your puzzle! I should post the unedited version for anyone who wishes a long video 😁 for long hours ehh so cool to hear you enjoyed it. Thank you. I also checked the eurographics puzzle, looks very beautiful!
Thank you for this beautiful video, your enthusiasm and appreciation for the puzzle and the puzzling process is so contagious. :) And also thanks for mentioning my comment! :) This „someone“ is around since you had 500 followers! ;)
Hi Sorta!!! Oh thank you for your kind comment and I’m so sorry i didn’t say your name properly, at the time i wasn’t planning to put you spot like that but added the screenshot during the post editing hope you will forgive me!!
@@RicPuzzles Haha, no problem, i didn‘t expect to be called by name, just wanted to say what came to my mind - i‘m glad i found your channel so early and to be part of your journey as a viewer :)
@@SortaSnoopy thanks Sorta! So glad to have tou as one of the first subscribers here! Been a long journey since the early days, and im glad you are still here! Hope many more years to come!!
Well done Ric.... I so Thank you for not doing time lapse.... this was very helpful for large piece puzzles.....always informative..... I cannot imagine doing it blind...Egads.... it will be beautiful once on the wall.....
Hi Ric. I just finally watched the video. I love a good 3000 piece puzzle. You are approaching it the right way. Keep it up. Once I tried a large count, i couldn’t stop. It is a thrill and excitement to complete it. And I’m mad, no of my comments has made it to one of your videos. 😂😂😂. Just kidding. I have a few puzzles for you. I’ll get them soon for you. 😘.
Oh mate!!! You are such an amazing person mate thank you so much! And yes i totally see what you mean, when we get the bug on big puzzles there is no turning back isnt there! Omg im having so much fun with this one it is on another level! So nice to know you also love bigger puzzles Hector! That is so cool man
Hi Rachel! Thanks for enjoying the channel, you are very welcome here 😁😄 mmmm the board, i have made my own board (im working on a big video showing how i made it) but for this large puzzle i have been using a normal dinning table with a nice thick material on top, it is really a make shift! I also added large chunks of timber under each leg to make it about 1.2m high, because i cant learn much (back issues) i should really make a video about my setup shouldnt i?!
@RicPuzzles thanks so much Ric! If it isn't too much trouble that would be awesome! Have just picked up the hobby of puzzling and am loving it. Thanks for sharing your journey.
That’s so nice, i hope you have fun, and plz remember to enjoy it without pressuring yourself or without feeling obliged to become a speed puzzler, a lot of newcomers are dragged into it as “the only option ahead” or that tou must time yourself and be quick, which is so not true! It’s no problem about your suggestion, I’ll see if i can do a small tour of my setup!
Such a beautiful puzzle, thank you for sharing your process in such detail. One thing I’d like to know - do you listen to music or something while you puzzle?
Hello Fran! Thank you very much for watching this and enjoying the experience with me, glad to hear from you! I do sometimes have music but most often i have documentaries playing in the background, or podcasts . Im currently listening to ‘around the world in 100 objects’ by bbc it’s just amazing.
They are really cool eh, i find them very relaxing. Particularly the one i mentioned, they describe everything with sounds and effects, it’s very immersive 😁
Well with a puzzle that size it's a case of sort, sort and micro sort before even starting. I wish you every success as I'm sure you will get it done, however long it takes. I just had an idle look at your wish list. I was interested to see that the Tim Bulmer Scotland puzzle was one of them but is apparently unavailable from the link you have. It is of course available if I go direct to the website as it is a UK based company and I live in the UK. No way of getting it to you as there is no means of contacting you to do so. I hope that you will get some of the puzzles that you have listed. Look forward to the next video.
Hello puzzlepiece! Thank you so much for enjoying todays video with me and for having a look at my puzzle lists! Oh so sad i shall fix that puzzle listing then about Scotland (a guilty please for me, love the history there). Again just the fact that you were having a look around and tried to get the puzzle for me is really mind blowing - i really appreciate that!
Hi Nina, thanks for watching! It is one of those that need hanging 😄👍🏻 I’ve got now to the very challenging parts, this will take me a long while to finish 😂, but yep im loving every minute of it! Thanks again for watching
