    In Jan 2021 after ordering & getting my pre-built PC from NZXT in Feb2021 (which are still built to order & just can't choose specs) 1.5yrs in I had my older brother swap the case and later the AIO.I then changed my younger bro's case & AIO myself for the 1st time (I also paid for both upgrades as early B-Day/X-Mas gifts).I then decided to change my case again myself and then PSU to run my new RTX4070,I had to swap out my Corsair 240 AIO since the pump was failing.I purchased a 360 Corsair AIO on Amazon & sold the refurbished unit I was sent for the RMA locally for $60.I definitely got for comfortable disassembling PC's after doing 2 successful AIO/case swaps.

    Always thought it would be awesome to work for an SI, as a builder/designer. I would suggest 2 things.
    1. Build up a "business-class" custom clone PC with better than average durability and performance parts.
    2. A top-tier gaming line with the experienced builder on a live stream for the customer. Maybe with a focus on the customer's specific goals and the builder's methods and explanation of why the chosen parts are being used. Someone who understands pci-e lanes and how the components take advantage of them most efficiently.

      @@BREEZYM6015 All I'm saying is if a system integrator ignores the other major CPU maker and the other major GPU maker, there is a reason. I've seen this sort of thing before. The most likely reason is a business relationship that says the integrator must use only Intel CPUs or cannot use Intel CPUs at all, and something similar with Nvidia. That makes sure the integrator can't use the competing components and therefore is in a weak position to negotiate pricing. But the real red flags to me are they all seem to be using F chips, mostly Raptor Lake, and they all top out at a 4070Ti. Is this company a Raptor Lake F-chip dumping ground? Nvidia supposedly stopped production of the 4070Ti, yet they are prevalent in these PCs, and you can't get anything stronger. Why do you suppose that is?

    • @csorrows
      @csorrows 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I agree, but not in the same way. For a company to survive in this PC world, they need to use the best value parts. For the high-end offerings, they have to use the best parts. Ignoring the top dog right now is not how you are going to do that. Nvidia GPUs, yes. Intel CPUs? Not a chance. I do not give a crap what the Intel fanboys are going to try to tell you, AMD is top dog right now. Both for long term value and performance.

    Over $2000 for a pc with a 4070 and i7-13700k. That ridiculous really. The gpu is $529 and the cpu is $289. Throw about $100 for psu, $100 ram being generous, $100 for nvme being generous again, $200 for motherboard and $50 for a case. This is$1300 for the pc total. Plus some of the components aren't necessarily and cheaper versions could be found. That is not worth it at all.

    I built my sons' gaming oc and have put it through all kinds of stress tests with zero issue, yet periodically when they are playing games it just shuts off. At one point i thought it was the evga power supply. Replaced it with a higher wattage raidmax psu and that thing burned up. Replaced it with a nzxt c850 and for a long time there was no issues and then it started doing it again. Id run stress tests for hours with no issues, but in gaming it would shut down. Checked event logs and it doesnt tell me anything.other than it suffered a temp power loss and was shut down improperly....

      Possibly an overheating issue. My friend bought a pre built gaming PC that was originally a Dell optiplex and it had this issue too. It had one output fan and no input fans and it was awful. He could play a game for 5 minutes and it just freaks out and turns off. I told him to take off the side panel while using it and it worked perfectly afterwards.

      @@yourlefttoe1914 I wish it were that simple of a fix. It has 3 intake fans on the front, 1 exhaust fan on the back, 2 exhaust fans on the top that are corsair fans that are high rim and scream when turned up and move a ton of air. It has a h100i 240mm aio. I used to have it set up with a fan speed curve that would ramp up as things got warm, but eventually just set everything to 100% and nothing gets warm, the CPU never gets hot. I'm just baffled because I can run stress tests like prime 95 , etc for hours with no issue, no crashes, no thermal throttling... yet they can fire up roblox, or fortnite and eventually it'll crash. It may be hours in or 15 minutes. Completely random. What's even more bewildering is it did this before when their setup was pretty old and it could barely handle fortnite, I've upgraded their processor, ram, motherboard, video card, power supply so it is basically a whole different setup and still the same issue. Really the only component that is the same is their boot hard drive.

Also thought maybe it was the wiring in my house as it was built in the 60's, but my personal gaming rig is running a lot more power hungry hardware than theirs and I have no issues with mine. And as stated above I can put their pc through the ringer with every stress test I can think of and it'll run for hours with no issues. You do not see anything better than a 4070ti is because 4080 and 4090 is no longer made. Any SI selling 4080 and 4090 is using inhouse stock. This is normal for Nvidia to boost sales of the next gen.
    About the "grey market" windows keys. Those ARE OEM keys. They are marked up from what SIs pay. Windows keys are amazingly cheap for SIs. This is the way you take over and control a market.

  • @thomasx1003
    @thomasx1003 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Obviously there's no way of checking but I'd imagine all the parts in the pc would be cheaper than pc part picker as they'll more than likely be buying them in bulk not as much as a large SI but I'd still imagine they're getting a cheaper deal than retail

  • @Lurch-Bot
    @Lurch-Bot 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I just don't get how people are willing to pay more and/or sacrifice performance for looks. Also seems obvious this company is taking advantage of the intel fire sale. intel is not what you want in a gaming PC these days.
    Would have been nice to have a full rundown of the components used. Pre-built PCs almost always have corners cut somewhere.
    Also, a $900 gaming PC that only has 500GB storage and 16GB RAM in late 2024 is just not a great look. I have a total of 3.5TB in my main gaming rig and that seems like about the right amount these days. Between Windows 12, er, Windows 11 24H2 and new release AAA titles, 16GB just isn't enough RAM these days.
    For your $900, you are getting a 4 year old GPU and a 3 year old CPU.
    I know the Toasty Bros are always touting Segotep PSUs but that's because they are good for their PC building business, allowing them to make more profit on a build. But it isn't a brand I would use. I don't give a crap about whether it is gold rated because that doesn't say a single thing about the quality of the PSU. In fact, gamers really shouldn't be concerned about 80+ ratings at all.
    NextGen has already cut prices on most of their models by $100-200 since this was filmed because the harsh realities of selling PCs in late 2024 are probably setting in.
    The market is in a slump and it is really a bad time to be launching a SI business. Also, why are they calling themselves an OEM? They aren't.
    As for the intel/Nvidia paradigm, it is definitely changing. AMD just reported record sales for last quarter. They are working on UDNA, which will finally allow them to compete directly with CUDA.
    A lot of people got turned off by intel's recent issues and are moving to AMD in droves.
    Pairing an i9 with a 4070Ti is just ridiculous and a waste of money in a gaming PC.
    Not listing DDR5 speed is because they are hiding the fact that it is the cheapest possible. In which case, it is pointless to have DDR5.
    You shouldn't be putting a retail version of Windows on your PC Partpicker list becaus SIs are paying about $10-15 for the license. They're buying them in bulk just like the resellers on the key sites.
    Keep in mind $400 is gross profit. They have to pay money for general overhead, along with paying for warranty insurance and tech support. You also have to consider they are buying components in bulk and getting them at wholesale prices. So it really may be more like $600 gross profit. And net profit is probably about half that.
    Another concern I have is that I am unable to find anywhere on their site that they build using all new components. So they could be selling mining used 3060Tis they bought for cheap. If they don't explicitly say all parts are new, I don't trust that they are. Most people are just going to make that assumption but it may not be the case.

    The first sign of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results! Why would you buy crap PC's or parts from these crap Chinese web sites and expect anything else but what you actually get? How many videos do we have to watch to discover that this stuff is junk? No one should buy this crap! We've got it now!
