Thanks for the video. I wish there were more of these types of videos for us tall slim guys. I am 6-1, 170lb with 39"ish chest and went to cycle gear to try on Astars 1piece missle v2. The 42 was the best, but still a little too loose in the chest/torso for me. The 40 I couldn't get into without almost having to dislocate a shoulder first, LOL. I am going custom, as One x has an awesome sale right now with black friday for cow or roo leather (Im going cow leather as I am cheap). Its hard to beat a custom suit for 1000 dollars especially when off the rack ones are the same or higher in cost. Keep us updated with any future gear changes! Thx
Hey man I feel your pain 100% lol custom is definitely where it’s at for people like us. That’s a great deal for the custom suit, I’m interested how you like yours once you get it. I crashed in this astars Missle suit and it help up great so the fit was good enough to be safe I guess lol but def will probably go custom next time

But glad to see you found something. ~~ Hmm, just saw your measurements, for how tall you are, your inseam is maybe short too. So yeah, this is good stuff.
I'm 6'2 and about 70 kg, just got an RST one piece size 46UK, length is perfect but a tad baggy, going to send it off to get it tailored. got it for 349.99 (brand new) so worth keeping it

I know its too late now, but you should have went custom fit.. they are damn near the same price. im tall 6'2" and slim 190lbs and had the same issue with off the rack suits.
Yeah definitely, I think for the price what I got fits decent but not great. Definitely want to go the custom suit route, I see you had a one X suit I might have to try that brand next time. I just wanted something that would fit my airbag underneath too

So honestly, these are the semi- budget friendly options, I would say for suits cheaper than this look into the Sedici Corsa suit that they sell at Cycle Gear which starts around $499. Revzilla sometimes has closeout suits between $600-$800, but I think that or looking at used suits on facebook marketplace would be your best options there. Thanks for tuning in!
Check ou RS Taichi suits, they seem to fit slimmer than other brands. Also Plus Racing custom suits are very good in price and looks very good. I'm not as tall as you but similarly slim.

I'm to short and thick. I'm 5-6" 178 lbs..... I just returned a race suit back... waiting for refund so I'll put that money into a custom suit.
Hey I hear you the struggles of not being an average size like everyone else lol. Have you tried Dainese “short” sizes? They have a size 25-26 which is shorter version of 52 and 54-56 respectively. It says it’s for people 5’6 for the 25 and 5’8 for 26 size. I would try that out first especially since a race suit is supposed to be tight fitting you may fill it out easier than I could

a star suit is too loose.....kinda sucks you have one of those bodies, custom suit or possibly the dainese in a 1 pc tall, sure you already sorted it out by now........whats your height and weight so i can reference/, we are similar

Yeah man definitely would be best for me to get a custom suit. The a stars is a little loose in some areas. I told myself I was gonna go to the gym and fill those areas out lol but didn’t happen 😂. I think for the price this is the best fit I’m gonna get that will fit my airbag system as well
Bro I have the same damn problem with leathers. The 52 dainese jacket fits me but has slight bulge/bunching in the stomach when tucked. I need like a 50 but the arms are way too short and too narrow on the shoulders. So frustrating

Hey thanks for tuning in! I would say for you probably 52 could work, I’m an inch or so taller and a little bit heavier than you and the 54 is loose on me in some places but I need that size for the length. I would have went with 52 but my arms are too long. So if you have normal length arms I would say you could go with a 52, and if you have short arms you might even be able to get away with a 50 since you are pretty light weight. I’d try those two and let me know what you end up going with!

@@karthickkrishnamurthy9743 I’m not sure of my hip measurement but my waist is 33-34 also so like I said we’re similar size so I still say 52 for you and not sure if you measured arms correctly as 23 seems really short but in the case your arms are that short I still say 52. If you order from revzilla they let you return the suit no questions asked no restocking fee. That’s what I did

Lol yeah man everyone built differently, my arms long but legs regular I guess and I’m guessing you might be the opposite. I’m thinking of considering a One X custom suit, they aren’t that much more expensive than the astars/Dainese
