    Linda - thank you for the great video. What travel company did you use for this trip?

  • @jessy5453
    @jessy5453 2 ปีที่แล้ว +23

    I'm not sure why this video has this title, why is Uyuni not for everyone? Because 2 workers got in a fight? Because the car broke down? The scenery is breathtaking and you got to experience an unbelievable place in our world that not many people get to go.

      I don't understand either, what a weird rant. That's what happens when you travel with a tour group lol

    • @mwu6280
      @mwu6280 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think she is referring to the family who demanded the driver to go back without finishing the tour. So more like saying “if you want absolute safety don’t go out there in the first place and ruin other people’s trip.”
      She herself doesn’t seem to have problems with those breakdown and fights though. But yeah the title is misleading.

    Other facts about Uyuni: Neil Armstrong visited this site. The ground has 7 layers of salt and many meters deep, and spread out over a whopping 4,086 square miles, the size of the city of Jersey or Zurich. This salt pan holds the world's largest deposit of Lithium .

    Yo pienso que los turistas muchas veces por tener más libertad y ahorrar no toman un tour avalado que les organice los lugares donde conocer en Uyuni y los hoteles y mejores restaurantes de comida boliviana gourmet que existe ahi. Todo eso les evitaría pasar malos ratos y disfrutar mejor de ese magnífico lugar

    I liked your video. It's a more realistic look at the reality of tourism in some areas of the world where service may not exactly be optimal. It seems that you were unlucky to have shared the car with a moron who lacks respect for those hard-working people whose intention is nothing except giving us an unforgettable experience. That brings me to conclude that one needs to seriously consider the possibility of having to 'mingle' with other tourists when we travel - that may be a great experience for some, but it can also be a real bad one. Thank you for the video. I am actually making plans to travel to Uyuni this July - that's how I ended up in your video.

    • @Wilian_Villanueva
      @Wilian_Villanueva 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Es verdad, yo creo que podría justificarlo(de alguna manera) con el hecho de que mi país todavía se acostumbra a globalizarse, todavía hace falta mejorar mucho los servicios en turismo y eso lo reconocemos.
      Ojalá más adelante pueda mejorar y brindar un servicio adecuado a los turistas.
      Ojo: también hayque cosiderar que algunas empresas son más idóneas que otras, y es mejor elegir siempre bien.

      Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! I struggled quite a bit with the altitude sickness stuff as well, it's no fun. Were you able to enjoy it despite the issues? And yes, as of January this year :) I made the leap

    This place should be one of the world 7 wonders… it does look amazing…. However a vacation spot for me??? Umm maybe not. I would need more. I am more of an adventure seeker… so I get there and I get to take cool pics and witness a stunning sunset or sunrise.. sure it’s cool but typically I need a cliff to jump into the ocean from… hike to a hidden beach, or a huge cave with a river flowing underneath it while I navigate through the rocks on a tube… yea that kinda of stuff… but very cool nonetheless and I enjoyed the video. That’s probably the only way imma ever experience it..

    this video needs about 90% less talkative gringa & more footage of the scenery. is this a vanity project or a tour of Uyuni?

    Sorry that you had a male "KAREN" on your trip aka vacation. I'm surprised you didn't speak up and say be quiet. Or Enough already we hear you. Try not to sink to their levels. Getting out of the car to feel better than being trapped with crazy Karen. Why would he come along with you guys? Or did the other guys push him and his family on you and your tour guide? Trust me last thing you need on a long trip is that guy. When you guys are smelling the sulfur were you guys near a volcano? The salt is surrounded by dormant volcanoes So, I changed the subject?

  • @Leciiib
    @Leciiib 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Girl, you're right. If the guy was so concerned for his family's safety, why go on a tour like that? 😅🤦🏾‍♀️ Perfect people don't exist.
