After a quick stop in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, we made our way to the town of Uyuni, a remote community in the Bolivian highlands. Here, in what is classified as a cold desert, lies a natural phenomenon known as Salar de Uyuni, the Uyuni salt flats. This salt desert plain is almost 12,000 square kilometers huge, and it is truly one of the most striking places we've ever been in. We can't recommend it enough and hope you enjoy the video😍

This video brings up my memories of going to Uyani in 2017. I went with my family and they booked more of an adventure tour, so I was able to see the geysers, la Laguna colorada, and many more of sights over the course of 4 days, if I remember correctly. I’m half-Bolivian American and I’ve been to Bolivia twice. Bolivia is such a wonderful country with many hidden gems.

I recomend you to book the trip to Uyuni for 3 days 2 nights all includ,It's incredible ! you can also see the gaysers- red, green lakes, , the desert :) and if you continue in Bolivia you can go to COPACABANA in the city of LA PAZ, so nice to visit in Bolivia the titicaca lake tour

Dear Boys! This is/was one of my AL TIME FAVOURITES out of ALL ,the videos I've had the pleasure to watch.
Though Oman will always be like home fir me - having lived there 28 years - Bolivia & the mind bending salt flats are a close 2nd. It's also somewhere where you two have followed in MY footsteps.
I first went in the 90s for a modelling job & then again I managed through a friend to be included as a "jack of all trades" during location filming fir one if the most beautiful movies of ALL TIME - "The Fall" ; if you or anyone else hasn't seen it,it's a MUST. That was my last trip in 2005/6; it's insane it seems so long ago now, Things are way less basic & we were super lucky to have access to helicopters.
You two are not only the well informed & tech advanced guard, but,you do take representation with you,VERY subtly,but,talking with friends, all of whom I'm trying to convert to your channel only,it does make a huge difference.
Please, keep it up & know you're travelling with so much love & encouragement.
Your cinematography & editing is first class& as always the rapport between the two if you,is the cherry on the top of an already perfect sundae.
Bolivia, is wildly ubder-rated on multiple levels, its altitude, scenery and sheer beauty is not going to deter people for too long,so get there,sooner than later.

Love your videos, currently planning my Bolivia trip! The hotel you stayed at on your first night in Uyuni, did you book that before or was that included in your tour?
We stayed at the Palacio de Sal the whole time in Uyuni and we booked it separately🙏 Most tours offer quite basic accommodation unless you do an expensive private tour!
Hey, when you go out in the puddle, do you have to buy boots (maybe before) or has the guide boots for you in the car?

Plan a group trip!
You should start editing your 4k 60FPS HDR footage in an HDR-profile as well instead of SDR, since that would look even more stunning and be way brighter (especially with all the white). Plus the MacBooks you have are more than capable of doing that and viewing it in post on an HDR screen like ur MBP or Any iPhone 12 or above would look stunning!

I would be interested to see your experience of White Sands National Park in New Mexico, USA. It's gypsum, not salt, and dunes, not flat, but the look is quite similar.
Flamingos seem to have gotten their name from the Spanish 'flamenco' which means a Flemish person. Also, llama is pronounced 'YA-mah' instead of 'LAH-mah'. Lamas are Tibetan monks, not Andean animals despite both being found in high altitudes. The double-l in Spanish is pronounced like a 'y'. IOW, think of Yamaha but without the last laugh!
That said, I'm glad you all had fun exploring that incredible salt flat even without the sheet of water on top that makes 360 sunsets!
