- In this video, I show you how to make Dubstep in the style of Alix Perez using Serum and Ableton Live. Apologies for not playing the full loop a little more during the tutorial for some more context. Hopefully, most of you are aware enough of the style that this isn't a problem and you can always listen to the full loop at the start or the end of the tutorial. Enjoy!

This whole channel is a goldmine huge respect bro
Only critique: it would be nice to see you edit the sounds with the background looping. BUT I do see you've taken note of that in the description, so big up g! Been in this for a while and this is the first time in years that I'm looking forward to going through a tutorial channel. Really solid work!
You pick out great artists to cover! The types who make music that transcends dubstep and grime.
Hoping you'll cover some of the grimier guys like Spyro for example
I actually have a Sir Spyro one that I've made a project for, so potentially for the next one.
@@UKBassTutorials Haha......you the man then I guess!
I know Im kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good place to watch newly released movies online ?
@Seth Noah flixportal xD
@Fletcher Nicolas thanks, signed up and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it!
Really nice to see some Deep Dubstep Tutorial! what about the structure of the track?
Glad you liked it!
I've been doing shorter videos like this recently - trying to nail the style more than anything else - but since this video has been quite popular I'm considering turning this into a whole track with an accompanying video.
UK Bass Tutorials awesome bud well I’m happy to hear that 🙂 let me know if you wanna collab by the way or do anything we are trying to get to this level actually so that could be cool 🤘🏼
Email me at ukb.tutorials@gmail.com!
Could you do a halftime tutorial but in the style of ivy lab
It's been requested a lot, so it will happen for sure!
but like halogenix ivy lab or more recent ivy lab....worlds apart from eachother in terms of sound design. older ivy lab you can deeply hear halogenix influence especially since that Lordel project got dropped
I beg you do a tutorial on the J Kenzo & SP:MC front
Nice & clean mix bro! Keep it up 👍🏽
Nooooo Waay... You really did it!!!
So sick man, keep it up
cheers!
Killed it as per man
thanks buddy!
So sick!
Cheers James, glad you like it!
@@UKBassTutorials Very pleased to see you break 1000 subs. Onwards and upwards for you mate. :)
First big milestone, obviously very pleased. I'll be giving away a sample pack with my next vid so keep you eyes peeled for that!
can we get some duploc style heads especially surreal sound design is crazy
Nice one. Subscribed. Thank you.
Great tutorial can you do burial? I've always wanted to know how he does it love from the USA 🇺🇸
Cheers dude! There's a lot of great burial tutorials out there, not sure my perspective is needed tbh.
I recognise your voice.. Is this Alexander Lewis aka Shifted? It's really bugging me. Great tutorial btw!
Nah it's not but ty

This is Dubstep guys
Great video
Also guilty of calling it 'deep dubstep' in some my other vids I think haha
Yo, very cool!
thanks dude!
How do u get this software?
From ableton.com
i love your videos but it is always so hard to hear the music. your voice is usually a lot louder than the track you are working on. just a heads up!
Thanks!
I imagine some of the FX I cover at the end could be a little quiet, but that's within the context of the mix. I can't say I can hear that the level of the overall track is quiet because that's the kind of thing I pay a lot of attention to when making the video. It may be the speakers or headphones your listening on, as no one else has raised this issue with me.
@@UKBassTutorials what I mean is that your voice is much louder than than the music so it gets hard to hear the music unless I crank the volume up but then you're voice gets too loud. Not a major issue just thought it would help. Thanks for the videos tho!
