can’t WAIT to start making bass sounds like this with operator... just got ableton today and didn’t even know this was a thing!! thank you so much for this and literally all the other tutorials you’ve got❤️
We are definitely excited starting witn a sin wave 😂. You still make music? Im late to the Bunting party but looks like you stopped doing tutorials. These have been super helpful tho man, bless up and down and all around
Dude your free packs on your website are insane, plus you helped me get operator sounding Naaaaaasty. Great tutorials for someone with light DAW experience looking to get into bass. Def coming back for the paid packs and a lesson or two once I get my Ableton legs under me. THANK YOU!
@@BuntingMusic I 100% do want to come for a lesson. I just don't want to waste too much time being super slow with all the Ableton interface while I've got ya on the clock. IK if I give it a little more time to learn the basics I'll get much more out of the lesson. I'm heading to Scamp music fest next week. Sometime soon after that I'll be in touch bro.
It’s crazy because I finally discovered how to make great dubstep sounds using stock logic plugins. Seriously I’ve been using stock synths over even Serum lately.
I knew all of this stuff in Operator but wasn't using the FM nearly enough I've been relying on straight sine and harmonics with Ableton Fx this is dope
You put reverb on the sub??? Shouldn't you duplicate operator then throw the reverb on the duplicate that is eq'd without the sub frequences so you don't mess up your sub? asking for a friend.
dude i don’t want to be a downer but unless i misunderstood what you said you’ve got the signal flow backwards on the algorithms it goes from the top down with what modulates what. I’ve picked up a bunch of tricks from you I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t tell you
Can somebody help me out? I cant get a constant bass note playing like he does in the video. Ive tured up the attack and release on everything, messed with the phase, retrigger, everything, still have a clicking sound at the beginning
@@BuntingMusic in case you have not found out by now: click the little arrow next tothe yellow "device on/off"button. you then get to see an option to actiuvate midi input(actually you can put in any midi track) as well as some options.
I have ADHD, I had to watch this video like 50 times in 5 minute chunks but it was worth it

“So we’re already excited 😐”
What are those knobs and what would be the equivalent in Sytrus? (FL Studio's Operator)
Your default operator preset is different to the stock one so 1 minute in I'm unable to replicate the steps
Know of any mixes with this type of dubstep sound?
Isded haha. That’s a local homie love him
looked you in the eye but could not tell you it wasn't fat
Can somebody help me out? I cant get a constant bass note playing like he does in the video. Ive tured up the attack and release on everything, messed with the phase, retrigger, everything, still have a clicking sound at the beginning
