in SS13, lore wise, the crew consists of psychotic idiots, incompetent mouthbreathers, the criminally insane, bullied robots waiting for an excuse to kill everyone, and literal monsters, so if you are doing your job and absolutely nothing goes wrong at any point, you aren't playing the game right.

When I first saw this game I was very uninterested, but one day the only person I followed and was live was tomato, he was on a clown server and it was one of the best streams I’ve seen in a while, now I really enjoy watching content on this game.

It was so hilarious when he started talking to Lawlman after this game. Lawlman stated he was the king of the ring which led us to believe he was the deaf guy, he wasn't him but it was still funny.
Sadly Tomato is/already has shutdown his servers - of which Criken was playing on. I doubt Criken will be playing it without the boys; since this was kind of a group RP session I doubt he'll be coming back to it unless they migrate to a new server. I hope I'm wrong, though!
Here's a tip about wrestling, Criken: Mix some disarms in with your punches. It lowers their stamina and has the chance to knock them down for additional follow-ups. An easy way to do this is to enable tg-style controls and press 2 to occasionally disarm, and then 4 to switch back to harm intent. (3 and 1 are grab and help as well, respectively). If you notice that they're falling down regularly after every disarm, that means they're low on stamina. This is when you should grab them aggressively and pin them my clicking an adjacent empty spot on the mat. The lower the stamina they have, the less time it takes to pin them. It is also very hard to break out of, especially while low on stamina. Then, depending on how nice you are, you can switch to your other hand and beat the living tar out of them with a foldable chair, or have someone watching count to 3.
For anyone curious about this game it’s shortly going to be released on steam or you can download a launcher called BYOND that’s probably older than you. The game is incredibly fun when you figure out the controls, just be careful because it’s incredibly addictive to beat the absolute hell out of clowns and stuff
This is probably one of the few games where you can be brought to the edge of death in drunk boxing but live because some guy injects you with weed extract
Fulp's a good place to get your feet wet. I definitely recommend Goon during October, as it's all nonsense all month long. Especially when the admins are on and want to really get into it.
You should try out Goonstation - that's what codebase the servers Tomato hosted (and Criken is playing on here) were. I've gotten really, REALLY into SS13 since July and Goon is where I spend all of my time. The combat and sprint mechanic on Goon really do it for me, and the Goon Overflow server is full of regular faces with a lower pop that makes for really memorable rounds. Goon Main has really big numbers and lots of chaos - and the admins are active and like to spice things up often. I totally recommend it!

This was on Tomato's sever - gotta be a subsriber to his stream to get whitelisted I believe. He's shutting them down soon because he's done streaming the game for now and doesn't want to manage them. He said having servers inevitably meant he had to moderate them, and that it sucked a lot of the fun out of the game having to do so. I believe he's letting two servers stay up for a while as they run their course and the playerbase dies out, but he's finished managing them.
It really is. The controls and everything take a lot of getting used to, but there's truly nothing like it. You can stick with a single job and take weeks or months to learn all the tricks and STILL have things to learn, and that's but a fraction of the surface-level of the game, and that's not even accounting the different servers.
It is. It is also terribly complex and you will get interrupted in your antics and curbstomped by traitors having learned to fight in a lag spike and kill a mech with a spoon. Otherwise, really fun once you get the hang of it.
