why did you have to swtich to tg, we have so many tg servers yet so little bee-code servers, and this one felt actually more special now it feels like something between fulp and manuel

because bee code barely ran. At the time of us being a downstreem of bee, they were updating their own code SO slow that prs would sit open for months. We would send them fixes and they wouldn't merge them. Then, after about 5 months, they would merge the fix and complain it wouldnt work because they would merge some random other thing that would change the fix.
Atmos was a huge issue. It barely worked.
Exploration was such a greedy job that was implemented so poorly that even on our server that was designed to run ss13, it would lag the whole server for 3-8 minutes for every single mission. Not to mention it would remove 5 crew members from the round to go fuck off and die and never be seen again.
Not to mention NOBODY wants to play bee code. Maybe if they maintained it better there would be more reason to be downstreams of it, but frankly, you would be hard passed up to exchange thousands of QOL, optimization, and bug fix prs that tg has done.
Anything you miss from bee code, we have. If we STILL dont have it, it just needs to be reported so we CAN have it. Frankly, I should have made teh switch sooner. The servers healthier, has more players, and is in a better place.
Bee code would have been a grave. The "feel" you talk about is exactly the same as it was before. Unless you like crusty unmaintained code for whatever reason. Inb4 MUH SOUL
