    Just waiting patiently for someone to complain about Kibler shuffling his hand.

    I find it interesting the different types of decks Kibler likes to play in magic vs hearthstone. In magic he tends to play more aggressive "zoo" like decks, and in hearthstone he prefers controlling decks.

    correct me if I'm wrong but, at 2:23 voltaic brawler dies but kibbler still pays the energy. isn't paying the energy part of the trigger?

    • @MrSnipeKill
      @MrSnipeKill 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      magerehenk I was wondering the same. He made the brawler a 4/3. It shouldn't have died.

    • @MrSnipeKill
      @MrSnipeKill 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      magerehenk cox cast the return before combat so the brawler was stil a 3/2, since you can only pump it during attacks. Kibler probably forgot to get the 1 energy back.

    • @magerehenk7579
      @magerehenk7579 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      he took an energy counter off after he put the brawler in the gy.

  • @calelaquidara8698
    @calelaquidara8698 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    at 13:30 2 energy counters are removed to pump the Cub. Then it looks like 2 energy are placed back on the "energy counter" shouldnt it have been moved to 0?

    Looks like it was too much kiddiestone for Brian

  • @saiconjr
    @saiconjr 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    That's funny, when I cast Emrakul off Marvel I usually go at end of opp's turn, get a turn to swing with Emrakul then control their turn. Maybe I'm doing it wrong then?

    • @fxyang1989
      @fxyang1989 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So Emrakul is tapped during the controlled turn? That doesn't sound good.

    • @PythiosWolf
      @PythiosWolf 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The advantage of an untapped Emrakul is having the opponent's largest creature suicide attack into a 13/13 in the absence of removal on the opponent's controlled turn.

    • @saiconjr
      @saiconjr 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well to be fair, 1) this is a turn 5/6 emrakul off of energy, or turn 4/5 with servant powering out the marvel a turn early, and 2) on their controlled turn I can usually find a way to get rid of the biggest threat But that's why I wonder about if I'm playing it wrong or not.

    • @JEDepraz
      @JEDepraz 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, yeah, as they said, you're doing it wrong, because whatever way they would have in hand to kill their own creature, you could use it on another creature if you just have the most threatening one suicide into Emrakul.
      They're not saying you're not likely to win anyway, but it is just a suboptimal use of resources.

    Hello Hyper Brian!

  • @NormalPerson8
    @NormalPerson8 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    2:42 I just hate looking at that 1 energy on Brian's side after a may ability got responded to. If he used the energy before the Return, the Brawler doesn't die. And after it is dead paying energy would do nothing. Real sloppy.

    • @GaleeStorm
      @GaleeStorm 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      NormalPerson8 That wasn't what happened. He used the may ability, which then got responded with kozilek's return

    • @GaleeStorm
      @GaleeStorm 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      NormalPerson8 With the ability on the stack

    • @NormalPerson8
      @NormalPerson8 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ***** That is not how may abilities work. May abilities can only be payed AFTER they resolve. That is the May clause. May means, eh, if you feel like it and the effect can no longer be responded to. You have to respond to the trigger on the stack. May abilities are broken really.

    • @GaleeStorm
      @GaleeStorm 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn't know that

    • @ijuhi
      @ijuhi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      if it were to be responded to and the energy be lost it would have to read something like:
      Pay {E}: Voltaic Brawler gets +1/+1 and gains trample until end of turn. Activate this ability only when Voltaic Brawler attacks and only once per turn.

    • @lerssierkki
      @lerssierkki 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Was not only my idea. Just look other versions of that deck. LIke that Frenchmans version. Kibler also played like a noob in draft and also forget to pay for Hellion in this match. Oh, he must have got into Hall of Fame when i was not playing. For me he just looks like noob in wrong league, but he will become better if he keeps playing.

      to be fair BK barely plays mtg, he didnt fly to sydney even though he was invited. Sure he has an awesome resume and i love him, but that doesnt mean he knows a format better than people that actually play mtg day to day aha

    • @lerssierkki
      @lerssierkki 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes that is propably the case. That is stupid to say that people cannot comment if they are not proplayers. Thats so weird. PubDrunks comment on soccer, ichockey etc.. and i dont think they even play those games. Some just think that pros are allways right with their decks. Kiblers RG energy just looks bad. Its too slow. I can be wrong thou.

    • @rastrisfrustreslosgomez544
      @rastrisfrustreslosgomez544 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are wrong, primary in assuming your oppinion is set in stone. To me his version seems perfect. I love tireless and I wouldn´t change a single card. You´ll find yourself crafting stronger decks when you consider that pros are always right with theyr card choices. Deck-picking for a format is another story altogether tough
