The fact that they sing in german makes it way more emotional. It's one of those languages that are really expressive and emotive despite how aggressive the tone can be.
One of their most if not their most beautiful songs! And, yes, Till can feel the sparks! From Flake's book : “I can watch Till for a second. When we play the final chorus, a shower of sparks rains down from the above. Till stands in the middle of it and keeps on singing, unfazed. I admire that a lot, because I know how much it hurts when the sparks hit him. They hit his skin and then burn for a good long time. If they land on his head, his hair will be coming out by the handful when he takes a shower. If the wind shifts I get hit by a couple of sparks too, but that’s not so bad since I have my jacket on.”
I love this video, but seeing that part always hurts to watch. He did that and so much other hurtful stuff until now...

Rammstein has music for every emotion or mood. That's why i love the band so much. Sad songs, beautiful songs, energy songs, aggression songs, piano, screams, roar, cleans, acoustic, heavy.. Just everything.
You should've reacted to the official video. It's such a masterpiece.

I think the video of them in Veinna is a bit better, it's more real. It shows how close they are as bandmates. All of them sitting side by side and playing even without electricity, it's beautiful and truly heartwarming to see. Especially when scheinder offers Till a place to sit in between the band.
@@luke78621 How could I forget about that one? It was beautiful even though it was painful to watch Till being so anxious! I loved the part when he left and Schneider went after him, and yes, when he also offered him a place to sit!

One of their most emotional songs is "Nebel" in my opinion! Not a chance to hear it without tearing up (well maybe because of some nostalgic events aswell but it's still pretty emotional :D )

Beautiful song. In 2019 they handed out lighters with "Ohne Dich" on it before entering the arena so people would use them instead of stupid smartphone lights. Worked :)

You should also react to this song Rammstein - Ohne Dich - (Acoustic) Live aus Wien 2016 - there'd been an electric failure and they had to improvise. The result was one of the best versions of this song - just an unforgetable performance. Worth to watch more than once.

Oh yes the concert in Nimes/Southern France 2005 is probably the best concert of Rammstein. Old Roman amphitheater 2000 years old with stunning acoustics. The complete concert is on the DVD "Völkerball".

I remember smoking the devils lettuce to this song on repeat back when I was in college. There's just something about it that puts you in that sad, emotional mood...it's iMO one of their top 5 best songs.

As all Rammstein songs this one is no exception and is open for interpretation. It could be seen as a love song (a person loosing a loved one), a song about friendship (the band itself) or (what I think it is) about drug addiction. The lyrical I talks about being alone with it and being alone without it, he/she is counting down the hours without it but with it seconds stand still and are worthless.
For this one you should see The official vídeo. Its a fluffy One😁 now for real its a great message

I got to know Rammstein mainly from live performance of this show about 13 years ago.
Had the dvd and watched theme so many times.
My favorite guy was one I called with a friend of mine 'Eminem', a blond dude really digging their performance of Amerika, saying NO with his hand ☝️ while singing haha

Maybe you don‘t know what he is singing. This is a song to a murdered woman. Till is singing this from the view of her murder. Ohne dich means without you. But here the murder is going back to the place where he buried her…
It sound like a love song but this is not quite the meaning.

Please watch the live version of this but in Vienna it is beautiful you really get to see how close the band members have become. The electricity went out, they played an acoustic version of this song they all sat side by side scheinder offered Till a spot to sit it's a very touching performance. In my opinion better than the official video just because of how real it is.

Big mistake. To react to Ohne Dich and not using the official video is a big mistake. You should really do that, the story of that video give goosebumps to everybody whon knows what it means "no one left behind" and to have real friend and comrades.
