    Loving the scenery & narration! Agree w/you that living on an island, being so familiar w/everyday surroundings, can turn you lil bit jaded. It happens to the best of us...& the worst of us!-lol. Just started watching your Trip around Ireland Passes, this being the first! A-l-o-h-a & keep these videos coming....

    I saw the headline and thought you would be riding near North Cork. As a child we would go home to my Grandmother in Kanturk from Cork over the mountains through Nad and Banteer and we would pass a high rock that my parents called Priests Leap although in their story he was a lookout. Urban legends I guess.
    I was very impressed it wasn't raining :D

      Dave being serious on this one, my wife is retiring soon and as she has an Irish passport, thanks to her Dad, we are looking at retiring to Eire. county cork appears to have the most sunshine is that true and where else, if not county cork near the water would you recommend? cheers

      @@georgewatt354 certainly the West Coast of Ireland seems to be sunnier and warmer as it’s in the gulf stream. I absolutely love West Cork and places like Baltimore, Schull and Bantry. But then up the road you have county Kerry which is also breathtakingly beautiful with towns like Kenmare. It’s my dream also to retire over that way.👍🏍

    Hi Dave, just working my way through your playlists having subscribed to your channel very recently….great scenery complemented by your photographic skills and Irish music.
    On occasions you mention Irish pubs and the craic (totally different atmosphere to pubs in England); how about producing a few videos capturing the craic for viewers who’ve never had the experience? I’m lucky enough to have an Irish daughter-in-law and so I’ve travelled Ireland on many occasions and have been to Irish weddings, birthday parties and just regular evenings in pubs. One of the best ‘commercial’ Irish evenings was at Johnny Fox’s pub in the Wicklow mountains about 45mins from Dublin….great food, entertainment - not sure if they would allow you to film there though.
    All the best from Cambridge UK🇬🇧☘️🍻

      @WheelieGoodTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Neil, thanks very much for your kind words. The idea of filming in a pub would be amazing but unfortunately in these days of GDPR it would never be allowed. You’ll just have to take my word for it!🤣👌I have a gorgeous couple of vids coming in October of my trip around the Northern Irish coastline, it’s a special one.😉 Thanks for watching. Dave

    Just bought a G310gs and what an adventure this road would be for it. The solitude and beauty is overwhelming. A history of the making of such a road would be interesting. Maybe God himself was an adventurer that came before the priest. Was nice that Mr. O'Sullivan " moooved" over and shared some of his own stories about the Leap. Good travels Dave- felt like I was there myself. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋‍♂️
