How have you helped yourself or a loved one to recover from their concussion at home?

I have provided support primarily with encouragement and being patient. I often notice that if I don't rush them or pressure them to perform, they often do better. That being said, still needing them to do things have often kept them going.

I never recovered after one year. Then I started using ice to massage my skull and that was the very time my recovery started. One month into this ice therapy, I was 80% okay. If you are going through concussion do this consistently for 3 months and you’ll be just fine.

When you say Ice therapy do
You mean like rubbing ice on your head at home or do you go to like a massage dude?

Thank you for the video. As a victim of Concussion, it is a highly under rated injury that the medical industry in Australia is still learning more about. It's incredibly debilitating for something so unseen, and easily taken for granted. The more awareness like this that concussion can last 6 months to a year is very much needed.

Hi MJ and I'm a fellow Aussie living Adelaide and I totally agree with your comment, I'm 10 months into PCS after a MTB crash and still suffering, it is certainly in need of more research here in Australia.

Im in another state, but a love one is recovering from a mild concussion due to an accident two days ago. How can I support him, a wife expecting (feeling overwhelmed) along with an active toddler? What exercise and supplements will enhance a healthy treatment process?
