I hit the back of my head on a windowsill about 3 weeks ago and my head still hurts. It's not a horrible headache, just a dull ache where I hit my head and sometimes on top of my head or by one temple or the other...the ache seems to move around. I'm not prone to headaches....almost never get them and when I do they don't last long. This one has been going on for 3 weeks....starting to get concerned, but not wanting to go to the dr because they'll just tell me there's nothing wrong with me.
@@Emg2463 that's where I'm at. Why the hell should I go to a doctor for concussions? They're going to tell me what I already know: ice it, take ibuprofen, rest, and watch for worsening symptoms. If they worsen I will go get checked. It's simple.
I was playing with my cousin and brother I was under the table and I tried to get away but I didn’t see the table leg and I hit my head on the sharp part of the table leg but all I felt was a burning sensation on the top of my head

About 5 years ago I hit my head really hard on the granite countertop (weird I know) and was a bit nauseous afterwards but did not pass out or throw up. The spot where I hit it hurt for a long time after hitting it and to this day it will hurt every once in a blue moon. Today the spot on the top of my head has been hurting all day. Is this normal or okay?

This was so helpful! My brother has had more than 7 concussions and I wish we knew this back when he had these symptoms.

i hit my head while doing a front flip and was hardly breathing for a few seconds, my back hurts. that's why i'm here lol
Uh i hited my head 5 years ago and i have a dent in the middle of my head and nothing bad happen to me so am i in the clear?
