Alright guys so I've been using that Halo now for about a year what I suggest to do is power up your microphones and mixer with the Halo and buy a battery powered speaker that'll last you for at least 2 powers
the tops I use are peavy dark matter tops and my ceremony rig is a harbinger 12 with Samson 88wireless mic a Mackie 8 channel board and I also use a speaker stand tray with my equipment on and jackery underneath.
Hi, can you tell me what the power draw on the speaker is? I connected the Halo to an Alto TS312 , the light starts to flash red and the speaker never powers on. I’m just wondering if I’m doing something wrong or the alto draws too much for the unit. Thanks
Would this run a Pioneer XDJ RX3? Thinking to buy 3. 1 for each studio monitor and 1 for the console. I’ve been wanting to run some outdoor streams and this could be a solution!
So, after further testing, I have found that when using the Edison plug, it delivers a steady output whether something is plugged in or not, so no matter what, it dies after 2 hours or so.

Thanks Travis. Informative and useful. Well done. 🙂
Thank you! I now have one.
Thank you!
Hey Travis how are you getting it to work with your speaker? I tried to power my One EV Evolve 30 for a remote cocktail hour and kept turning red.

Thanks for the vid! Can this handle a 10" or 12" powered subwoofer? If so how long can it last?
HIGHLY doubtful.

Thank you. Are you going to incorporate these items into a ceremony rig?
I have for about a year now, but I have only been powering the microphone system with it because the speaker I use is battery powered.
I have the halo bolt and I can't power no low powered speaker.
I use a jackery it last all day running 2 tops a board and wireless mics 290watts .
Could you link that to me please? I would like to check that out.
@@djtravismcguire I’ll text you a link tmrw bro bro
How are you guys achieving sound from your speakers? My light turns red and not green and failed me the other day
@@therealdjmikej how big of a unit you using
@@wbuttry1 I’m using an EV Evolve 30M same wattage as an MLS 1000 and other powered speakers
what is the exact model number please
Will this work on a qsc k12.2?
No. Too much power draw.
@@deejayvirgo more than likely, you're going to need something like a Jackery. It's it initial power on stage the smaller battery packs can't handle.
You think an RCF HD10 will power from this?@@djtravismcguire
