Might be a strange question but some of the chaps in the hobby have been doing this for many years so are probably suffering some aches and pains like myself. They have lots of cages do they have a routine on the cleaning side and how do they manage? Great video by the way

Any recommendation for "show" birds ? I want to enter in a local show but have no idea what I should be doing now. Show is in October/November. Matt helpppp. Got 5 young off 3 rounds. Hen is about to be retired babies almost eating hard seed off last round. Another hen has been calling and some mating off and on for about 3 weeks no eggs... She only had 1 round. but I feel waste of time now. My small birds still haven't moulted, one adult bird I had moulted early... My star hen and cock bird are still feeding the last round. I'm in Canada

sad that this is the last season, but understand the reasons, I learned a lot about canaries husbandry and management from this channel..

Do the self greens start off more brown to them moult out green?

How do you know already which is male and female I do be just guessing and don’t want a hen singing on the bench come show time 😂😂
