"Decopauge " perfect !!!! As you were searching for the word/ so were we!!!! You got it!!! I was still stuck when you came up with it!!!! What a relief!
I sold my dual sport 2. I wouldn't return it and pay 300 more unless weight is extremely important to you. You will not find the dual sport any faster I think.
@@kiwi22207 thanks! That’s what I needed to hear. Being lighter and possibly faster on paved trails with ability to do some light trails was intriguing but I could not justify the $300+ price tag. So far I like the Marlin.
I have a marlín to ride around the house during the week when no available to go ride in the mountains it’s great for pavement and also to have fun around the city a great bike I will go for 7 but yes this is my 3 or 4 marlin
Nice! Yeah, we're loving ours and ride almost everyday. Upgraded the pedals to some nicer Trek ones and changed the grips for a bit more palm comfort. Low cost and worth it. 🤘
wow nice really awesome and the dropper post is already cabled all i have to do is get the dropper post and hook it with the ready cable and thats it nice added feature
I got a walmart bike. The chain fell out the first ten minutes. I was devastated. Im looking at someething like this. Is this a good first(i refuse to count the walmart bike as the first) mtb?
I almost bought one from Walmart and I didn't see good quality. I put a little more money and bought the Marlin 5 Gen 3 2024 and I’m sure I did the right thing .
I wanted to love this bike but the L is too cramped for me and the XL’s reach is too long Couldn’t find the right size. Jumped on a Marin Bobcat trail in L and booooom - immediate connection
The HT angle is 66.5. The difference may not seem important, however it makes one significant difference between the Trek Roscoe lineup.

I love this color variant!! Sad that these are not available here in Japan.
Just bought this exact. So far it is awesome and is actually faster on pavement than my dual sport.
What gen DS do you have?
@@dawatchdog I had the gen 3.
@@kiwi22207interesting. I just got this bike as well but was contemplating returning it for a dual sport 3 gen 5. Do you have both?

Yeah I wanted it but they only had medium large for it and I’m medium so I got the black and red

Great to hear, big help for my tough decision between this and DS
Just bought 2 of these. Excellent quality, feels great riding and we're really enjoying them! Cheers all!
I bought one and my wife loved it so much she copied me.

What type of surface do you guys primarily ride? Glad to hear you like them.
@kiwi22207
@bendalianis
More often than not it's packed gravel or hard packed woodsy dirt trails. You?
@AndrewMcGhie I mostly ride to work with it. Paved roads. Taken it on some gravel and dirt paths too.

I love that paint scheme and the geo updates

I already have a marlin 5, but it is showing its age, do you think it is worth to upgrade to a new gen trek marlin 5?
Beautiful bike it's like hitting the lottery
Very nice, I like it.
Very interesting 🤔. I still think I'd go marlin 6.
Greetings from Algeria
It’s almost like a patina or something like that
66.5 degree head angle ¨¨
Kinda expensive for what you get I'd expect atleast a cheap air fork
This bike is not budget in my country😢
Is that color for dudes ?
❤❤❤
Lol
so over priced
