- In October i was invited down to Tennessee for the weekend, so i took the chance to head over to Windrock one day and grab a couple more Badges. Met up with a subscriber and hit the trails! It was great to meet you Ken and thanks for guiding me around the massive park!
Hope everyone has a great Turkey day! Though i'm likely done wheeling for the winter, i still have plenty of videos from this summer/fall to edit!

-Rocky Road Super Sliders (rock rails)
-Dobinsons KL Trailhawk suspension lift, paired with partial Hazard Sky lift spacers to achieve 2" lift
-32" Milestar Patagonia MTs (265/70/17) (had to trim front fenders and pinch welds)
-40" Rough Country Curved LED DLR Light bar with Hazard Sky mounts
-Rock Lights (cheapo)
-4" Pod Lights (cheapo)

Knowing Windrock, you have taken a Trail Hawk to a new level...am sure you had a lot of folks looking surprised to see you on the trails....good job, had to watch again this time looking for suprised onlookers...
Sadly didn't actually run into a whole lot of people. Just a few small groups of sxs's. Got about the same amount of looks as i do wheeling in my home trails.
Those kids seeing your Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk on Panther Rock may have very well left a lasting impact on them.
When I was a kid, I loved cars and trucks but was completely oblivious to this fact. When I came upon uncommon cars, they left such an impression that over two decades later I remember the encounters. Jeep Comaches, BMW 8-series, Dodge Vipers, Suzuki Samurais are only some of the uncommon vehicles I clearly remember seeing in person as a young boy.
Yes, you do in fact drive a car, a crossover because of its unibody construction. But you use 110% of the Trailhawk's Trail-Rated capability and routinely impress me with the obstacles you overcome. Even with a car, you've continued to do justice to the Trailhawk badge, Trail-Rated badge, and especially the Jeep heritage. This is coming from a car enthusiast who is a massive Subaru fan. I love Subaru's more than Jeeps, but videos like yours continue to demonstrate the superiority of the Jeep Trail-Rated crossovers' off-road prowess.

This is so sick, great driving. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2018 Trailhawk and though I won't be hitting the trails this hard, our video has definitely justified my purchase! SUBBED.

Thank you! I wanted to go out on the rock just for the sake of it either way, the picture just helped prove i made it! Not too much trouble from it, a good story and a $30 part that took 2 minutes to replace isn't bad.

I have one and while I wish I could have gotten a 4 door Rubicon, I love my Trailhawk!!! GREAT truck IMHO!!!!
I enjoy it. The best part is seeing the look on peoples faces when they see me on the trail!
@@FearlessTrailhawk I love my Trailhawk, just still wish I could have afforded a Rubicon... $60,000 out here was just out of my price range. I got my loaded Trailhawk on memorial day and being a disabled veteran, They wanted $43,000 for it but I got it for $28,000 and I put $16,000 down so I got a real good deal I couldn't refuse...

That park is just so HUGE!!! Was there a day and essentially only hit two trails...with some of the linking trails/roads
I own a 2017 trail hawk. Do not knock it until you drive one... They are awesome little crossovers...👍
I had a '17, it got totaled, then i bought the '19. No ragrets.
I look at the fork to decide which one is the most troublesome.
Nice handling through the ditches , but im curious how was your transmission temperature cuz i experinced some high temp while offroading ? Thanks for your videos
Never noticed any issues. Were you in 4Low or still in 4-High, because the whole system has to work harder on the trails if you stay in high. Also make sure your radiator is clean, if you go through and mud puddles it can easily get clogged up and prevent the needed cooling effects.

Thats my favorite part of taking the KL on the trails...is all the people who would never imagine seeing a 'car' on the trils!
@@FearlessTrailhawk A few months back I bought my wife a 19 Cherokee limited and watch your videos to see how tough her car will be. I know your pushing yours off road so this will tell me what the weak links are on the Cherokee. She doesn't go off road just dirt roads in Vermont to visit her parents. She has the V6, does your Jeep have the V6?

@@brettsalling mine has about ten grand in parts.its got a yukon front diff and rear dura grip yukon.cyclone racing headers.full flowmaster super delta 44 racing exaust with straight pipe.spectre racing intake and all new rancho shocks and spicer u joints timken hub assemblys and much more.

I hear its changed a bit in the last 1.5 years... Just be mindful of your lines and make sure you don't go alone incase you need a tug!
Hey Jimmy do you think my 17 TH Renegade Trailhawk will make panther rock? She got an avid 2 in lift and KO2s
It probly make it, just be prepared for possible damage like i got. The Rene's are more tippy than the KL's so you may have to be more careful with line selection.

One of the Offroad GPS Apps...i think it was TrailView that has a map available for this park. (3 years ago, sorry if i can't remember specifically)
Did your rear dif go out AFTER you were rear ended or before?
After. About 3 months after i got it back from 3 months in the body shop.

Is trail 16 out of the question for the Cherokee Trailhawk? I think it could be pushing it.
From the reports i've heard recently, yes, the ruts are simply too deep in quite a few spots. I've always wanted to have a go though...😔

Yes. We don't exactly have many options. There is only one company that has a set of front's. That is it.
You kind of possibly really meant that it cost $19,000 in the body shop maybe you misspoke and you only meant 1900 seems like the insurance company would have totaled that vehicle for that much videos are awesome I love that
Sticker was $42k, insurance usually totals around 75% value. It was most definitely 19k dmg...had to go through a whole mess because the guy only had the state minimum of 25k to cover mine and the guy i got pushed into.
Trust me my wife got hit head on in her first Cherokee and it was just a Latitude Plus. They finally called it totaled when the quote got up to 21k. She now has a Trailhawk Elite as well.

The mud hole at 29:30 is so much worse now.
As tends to happen with mud holes. I try to ask locals or park operators about any current mud hole issues whenever i go someplace new, since stuff like that changes,
Modify the suspension travel, wheel wells, and add larger tires.and add short steel bumpers front and back.
Got $100k to donate for the modifications? Its been done before, for concept versions for a couple shops...but it was $100k worth of efforts.
32's is realistically the largest the KL's can fit without needing stupid amounts of money.
that setup looks great...jeep is too stupid to offer a setup like this from the dealer
Yes, these look 1,000% better with lift and tires. Some dealerships will install one of the 2" lifts as part of the initial sale, but thats as close as it comes.
As a citizen of Briceville where Panther Cliff is we where riding 20 years ago. We love our mountains and would not cut all the beautiful vegation native to our area and drive on the cliffs that is scacrit ground. Thanks you greedy corporations.

Meh, i used this style for a few vids, 26 seconds isnt terrible, imho. I have since changed it on more recent vids to ~20 secs. Its a process, and I'm slowly getting better at it.
When you hit your hyperspeed button, I skip that section of your videos. It's useless to me.
...thats why i do the hyperlapse...it helps to still show the trail as a whole, but also gave me more time to narrate. It was only for 30 seconds anyways...🤷
