I became impressed by the Packers unique relationship with Green Bay thanks to an ESPN Outside the Lines documentary, Titletown USA. While numerous NFL teams played in the fledgling 1920's era of the league only the Packers continued to stay and thrive in a small town. I wish more pro sports teams could have similar public ownership arrangements.

Lambeau will have to be rebuilt or replaced eventually. If they went to individual seating they would likely have to go to a second tier seating arrangement of some type. Plus they likely would want to keep unobstructed views. When they played games in County Stadium that was a major issue. If they have to use a temporary home l could see them using Camp Randall in Madison. Close to the same capacity. At some point in the future l wouldn't be surprised if the NFL tries to force teams into enclosed or closable stadiums.

Green Bay has the greatest fan base and always been a quality team. They need to put a roof on this place instead of leaving it sitting out in the weather. I would imagine to repairs would be super expensive and could easily pay for a roof. If they want cold when then just leave a 1’ gap around the edge of the roof but that really makes no sense. If they at least stopped the rain they would have far better quality games and less injuries due to the rain. When it rains or snows the players are going to get injured. The Packers are also not at any benefit from playing in these conditions because almost all players are not from the area so they are not used to playing in these conditions. To make the Packers practice in severe cold and water would increase the number of injuries which is also not very smart when you talk about multi million dollar players getting injured
