Sorry to hear you were ill but you did the right thing and gave yourself some time to get better. The mike sounds good. I really need to start sowing but I’m struggling for time in the garden due to a needy elderly parent at the moment and as you said, the weather has been appalling. Fingers crossed it will start to improve so we can spend more time outside.
Thanks Nicki. I really done like colds, they're horrible! And thanks! I was a little worried spending that amount of money but I think they're pretty good so far! Ah, I feel you. I'm with my Grandparents and it can be a bit much. Nice to have the garden to unwind and get away from it all. Hope you're looking after yourself Nicki! And let's hope that the weather starts to warm up a little for us 💚🌱😊
Great video. Maybe dig a few inches out of your central path so your head doesn't bump the beams? The polyhouse is looking fabulous after your tidy I bet your flowers beds will look gorgeous, so full of the promise of spring.. I so love having flowers on the plot. I am hoping to install a wildlife pond later this year. I simply don't have the time at the mo. I have only recently subscribed to your channel but I'm loving i. Than you. Happy gardening 😃
You're just full of great ideas!! I might just give that a go, so thank you very much!! Spring is certainly creeping in. I love the change in seasons no matter what time of year it is. Its exciting to watch the first signals from nature. Yesss, definitely get a pond installed! You can go as big or small as you want and it will still have great impacts for your wildlife in the garden! Lovely to hear from you again! 😊🌱💚
Wow you have so many more flowers out than we do 😢 but hopefully soon. Although we are forecast some snow first week of March 🤦🏼♀️. Funny we are only allowed fires in Nov and March not from 😂. Glad your feeling a bit better ❤️🩹 being in the garden helps. Poly house looks fab and I agree why not take down the pasty 6”. Hope the seeds all do well have a fab week, Ali 🌦️🇨🇦 Ps was a little brown sparrow I’ll see if I have a clip
The helebores and polyanthus are always really early here and bring a lovely little splash of colour. Oh god, snow again!! And that's a strange rule! Just those two months 😂 Thank you Ali. Hope you, the family and the garden are all getting on well 😊💚🌱
Hi Jake, great to see you back on the allotment and to see the fire going. Sorry to hear you haven't been well. It's a wonder you didn't say a few words when that cane hit you in the face. I know I would have done. Great job you did tidying your poly tunnel. I have just sown a few seeds, trying not to sow too many as have to think where to put them all when you prick them out. Looking forward to your next video.
Hey Linda! And thank you very much! I did feel rather rotten for a few days! Hahaha, honestly how I didn't swear is beyond me to be fair! It stung like crazy! 😂😂😂 And yes, good thinking! I only managed 2 or 3 brassicas per pot, but I did go a little mad with the onions but hopefully they'll be fine! Lovely to hear from you as always Linda and I hope you're keeping well and getting out in the garden 💚🌱😊
Hey Jake, great to see you up at and at it down on the plot! I do the exact same with my raspberries cut to the base, glad to see your eye is still intact though! 😅 I grew that sprout variety last year, it's a good producer!! Those seed trays look fab 👌 👀 how handy to be able to hold all those individual plants in one tray!! 🙌
Sometimes a little break helps, especially when you're run down with a cold! But glad to be back 😊 Hahaha, how I didn't swear I don't know! But I thought I was gonna have a whip mark across my chops! Ooooo, hopefully I get sprouts as good as yours because you seem to have brassica magic! I'm never that good with them! Lovely to hear from you and well done on your channel, it really is taking off! 😊🌱💚
@pots-and-petals 😄 🤣 I would have been cursing like a trooper if it was me!! Brassica magic 🎩 ✨️ haha must be the irish seaweed!! Thank you that is so nice of you to say 🤗 I can't wait for your weather to warm up a bit and see all those bulbs spring into action. It's going to be beautiful! 🌷🌸🏵
What a difference, sorting the poly house has made it look great. I'm very surprised there wasn't a swear said when the vine hit you in the face, I would have had to bleep the audio a few times 🤣
Honestly, I thought I was going to have a whip mark down my face! And how I didn't swear is beyond me! 😂😂😂 But yeah, the polyhouse can actually be used now which is nice! Hopefully get some more jobs done tomorrow 😊🌱💚
I don't think you should plant your onion set's yet because if they see a frost they will bolt later in the year, but it's up to you as it's your allotment, if it was my allotment I would put them in at the end of march and watch the Forecast. I just looked at the Weather Forecast for Sunday and in my area it's going to rain in the afternoon. Thanks for the video
I've followed your advice Graham! I'm gonna wait until we get a couple of weeks above freezing so the ground can warm up a little! I don't want a repeat of last year because my onions were bad! Thanks mate! Let's hope it works 😊 Hope you're keeping well mate 😊🌱💚
Thanks, I hate getting colds! Nothing worse than a blocked face and a cough! Doesn't help working in a big open plan office! I think I got them from dobbies in the end! But most garden centres should do them 😊💚🌱
So, I am going to throw this dumb idea at you, how about digging the center path of your poly house to give you more head space. Being a short woman, I never have that issue. It's worth a try, and your neck will thank you....Glad you are feeling better!
Superbe vidéo 😊
A bientôt
Merci! J'espère que nous aurons du soleil ce week-end car la semaine a été très humide ici ! J'espère que tu as passé une belle semaine 😊💚🌱
@@pots-and-petals de rien.
Très humide chez moi aussi

Quality content as always. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Ah, thank you mate! Hopefully now with the mic and gimbal, it should get even better!! Hope you're keeping well 😊🌱💚

👋🏽 Hey and thank you very much 😊💚🌱
Great video ❤ I’m going to try and grow onions 🧅 with seeds this year 😊
You'll have to let me know how you get on! I wish I had started mine a few weeks back now, but hey ho!
Hope you're keeping well 😊🌱💚

Hope you're keeping well 😊🌱💚

great minds, think alike. I just cleared my raspberry canes today.🎉
Waheyy! I totally forgot until I walked past and saw lots of fresh new growth coming through the old stems! One job down, many more to go 😅😂😊💚🌱
@@pots-and-petals it’s never ending… not enough time in the year 😁

Not a dumb idea at all, I love the sound of that! I'll have to give it a go before it starts to get too warm in there! Thanks Antonia 😊💚🌱
