Railtown 1897 Steam Train Sierra Railway No. 3 "Movie Queen"

Take a trip back to the turn of the last century as we ride on a historic steam train in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. Railtown 1897 is home to the historic Jamestown, CA Sierra Railway yard. We will ride behind one of the weekend steam excursions behind historic Sierra Rwy locomotive number 3. Sierra 3 was built in 1891 and is one of the oldest operating steam locomotives in California. Number 3 is also well known for appearing in hundreds of Hollywood films, TV shows, and commercials over the years.
