Thanks so much for your video. I was replacing the window regulator in my wife's 2016 Tucson and the door handle mechanism didn't come out clean and I ended up with a loose plastic part that I couldn't figure out how it went in. Thanks to your video I was able to figure it out and finish the job successfully.
I have a 2016 Hyundai Tuscon with my front passenger door sticking. I went to my local Hyundai dealer to get an estimate for repairs on the latch. Price was $700. But the service rep.was able to pull up a technical service bulletin. It was on a door latch replacement extended warranty(my car has 50k miles out of warranty) I recommend you go down to the service dept. to see if your 2016-2017 Tuscon is covered versus doing it on the phone. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the great video. I stupidly stripped the foam sleeves off the two cables on the replacement part, thinking it was just part of the packaging. Do you think it will still work?
Im bypassing the cabe all together and still can't get it to unlatch. tempted to take the Lach assembly apart but I don't have the go ahead to replace yet. just figured out why it doesn't work
Hyundai is horrible for this problem on all the vehicles. Most of the time they won’t open from the inside or outside. I have at least two a month in my shop for this problem. They should be ashamed of this bad cheaply made design.

Your the Man very well shown I did it perfectly despite a beer half-way through Cheers
Good video. I’m surprised by how difficult Hyundai made it to replace a door latch…
And made them defective so they would fail, usually after warranty is up. Sounds almost liked they planned it that way.
Thanks so much for post and describing each step. You saved me $$
Keep making these videos man they help alot!
You earned the sub, I don't miss flat rate, but thanks for the video.
Thank you so much for your help. To fix my car too
I really appreciate the video. Saved me a lot of time.
I just did this on my wife's Tucson. Both front doors.
Wow. That’s a lot remove to get to the latch.
Its covered under extended warranty in the US and also recently they extended the warranty in Canada too. All four door latches are covered!
Any information regarding Europe abou extended warranty?
Thank you for this video, it came in clutch my friend 👍

Travail très propre
Does the entire lock need to be replaced? can't be repaired?

Can you tell use what is the fail point on the Lach ? Something we can do to keep it from braking in the future?
