    Thank you for the great tips on blow drying. I'm 61 years old with super fine, straight hair and have been blow drying since high school. After all these years, you have shown me what I've been doing wrong and my hair already looks way better after just one wash/blow dry since watching this video.

    These are great! Love the combination of sharing some beautiful nature and teaching us some things we can relay to our stylists. Do you have any videos for curly hair that don't require a blow dry or products, for those of us who are sensitive to products and Don want to ruin out hair with a blow dryer?

I only discovered your channel last night, which just happened to be less than 24 hours before the appointment I booked with my hairdresser 4 weeks ago. Your tips and advice ensured that I was able to be much clearer with communicating exactly what I wanted, as well as being aware of what to avoid, and I've walked out of the salon today extremely happy with my new lob cut. 😊 Thanks again, from your new Aussie subscriber!

    Thx for yet more great useful tips. I love the 'C' that has helped so much. You mentioned thick hair. I have thick mid-length European hair which takes an age to dry. It would be great to have a video just on drying and styling such hair. You mentioned the triangle effect and I get that all the time. Another impact on my hair is damp. Just a little damp and ping I've gone frizzy and triangular.

      @justinhickox  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hear ya! I find going by “feel” in the back is actually easier than using the mirror at times. I cut my own hair and I find many times I just have to stop looking in the mirror and just think about how it feels to get the motions down, then check the mirror if that makes sense.

    Hi Justin, I'm one of your viewers who enjoys your destination videos. Last month, I had my hair highlighted and immediately after couldn't get a comb through it. Now, its breaking every time I comb it. I wanted some advise. My hair stylist gave me a list of Davines hair products: Momo shampoo and conditioner, NOUNOU hair masks, Oi Milk, and OI oil. She said it was probably due to too much protein in my hair. It was dry before I went in. Are the Davine products good? Are the Olaplex or Qua products better or just hype? Currently I use Pureology shampoo, Redkin United One for a leave in and a Redkin mask once a week but now my hair needs daily moisturizing.. Any advise would help.

    • @justinhickox
      @justinhickox  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Thank you so much! I’m really glad you’re liking the videos! I appreciate the support. Sorry to hear that’s happing to you. I can’t say I know too much about Davine products. I haven’t used them much at all but I do have a friend who’s a stylist and she LOVES them. When it comes to breakage, OLAPLEX (#3 specifically) is the ONLY product currently on the market that has the ability to rebuild disulfide bonds. These bonds breaking down are the main reason hair breaks. OLAPLEX is a favorite of mine and I recommend it to ANYONE who is trying to combat breakage. That’s what I would go with for your hair. Put it in at night (in damp hair), comb it through from roots to ends and leave it in until morning. Then rinse it out or just dry it in. You’ll feel a little texture in your hair if you dry it in but it’s not a big deal. I’d use it a few times a week until you notice your hair breaking less, then go to a couple times or even once a week to maintain strength. Hope that helps.
