For those who commented: This video had a very rushed timeline and a quick turn around. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to show any footage comparisons. That's my fault and I will be more intentional in the future for you. Thanks for the support!
I see the Mavic 2 Pro going used for 500$. So yeah.. would have been nice to see the difference in picture quality but you never showed any differences.
Thanks for sharing! Apology for no direct comparison in the video. Ended up being a quick run and gun project but I'll make sure to add that in the future.
I thoroughly enjoy watching your video In the future, it would be even more captivating if you incorporate comparisons between different drones and their respective footage. This way, we can delve into a deeper understanding of the capabilities and nuances of various drones.
After-market batteries for the Mavic 2 Pro currently on sale for $183 with Ali Express, now enable the Mavic 2 Pro to keep flying for 35 minutes, which is a true game-changer for those of us not willing to part ways with the M2P just yet. Great video fellas, with lots of vit al statistics to inform wise purchasing decisions
Correct. This was a run and gun video so unfortunately I didn't get to include the footage from the 2. The Mavic 2 Pro held up pretty well! It's still a super solid drone for being so old. The main differences we noticed were in the resolution and the dynamic range. The Mavic 3 Classic looked better as it got darker and it came away with less digital grain.
Worth pointing out that of the two, only one will still be legal to fly in the US after September 2023... Stand alone add-on RemoteID broadcast modules cost around $300 bucks right now...
@@austinbrady New FAA regulations coming into effect in September this year require drones over 250 grams to have a broadcast remote ID. The Mavic minis are therefore unaffected because they're so small, but Mavics and Mavic Airs, etc. are affected. Newer ones after 2020 or so have remote ID built in, but the older ones don't. In order to make the older/bigger drones compliant, you need an add on module like the " DroneTag", but they cost $299 bucks right now!
@@austinbrady @brycemilton DJI says that they will be releasing firmware updates for the Mavic 2 series that will make them Remote ID compliant. Not until December though.
Yeah I really messed up on that one 😂 Long story. Both performed well in good lighting conditions but the Mavic 3 was able to pull off an extra level of quality with it's larger sensor.
The dick riding on the M3 is crazy. I dont think I saw one Mavic 2 shot for comparison. Battery argument is valid, but it shouldn't be the only thing to focus on.
Romel! As the guy who was flying the M3 I appreciate the feedback. This video was a really fast run n’ gun project. I didn’t have the time to plan out and include everything into the edit I wanted (including M2 footage). I knew it wasn’t my best work but published is better than perfect. In the future I’ll make sure to give it more effort for viewers like you 🤙🏼
They deliberately tried to make the Mavic 2 look bad. The ascent speed on the M2 isn't that slow. And you can get a controller that has an integrated screen for the Mavic 2.
I know. I apologize for missing that! A lot of others have pointed that out and I’m hoping to create a follow up with more specific footage comparisons.
