yeah it is a good movie and I enjoyed it and the concept but there are a lot of inaccuracies in it. Another is there portrayal of Art. The also really up played the Pena vs Hatty debate. Hatty played DH most of the time when Pena was on the field there for the main arguments in the conflict of OBP between Hatty and Pena were pointless. However we have to remember it is a movie (and a good one too) not a documentary.
@@johnnyspilotro5281 I mean, did he? The biggest detraction he had from Billy was that his mathematical way of looking at baseball would never work. It didnt work for the A's, but it worked for the Red Sox and several teams that followed.
I watched this movie on AMC and so much is lost to censorship. This particular scene was completely changed by one word that was censored. Grady deserved the ax after he uttered that one word.

The guy who played Grady did a great job because he made you utterly hate him
It does suck he can’t just play it out . Brady is giving him the pass for his opinion and he can’t just take it and see what happens with team
@@humvee2800in real life he was never fired
Grady was never fired in real life. He stayed the whole season and then left for the Rangers after receiving an offer to be assistant GM.

"google boy" lol
This is proof that people fire themselves.
Adapt or die, a formed adult human skill set is the ability to always adapt to change
The change wqs objectively bad tho 😂
He fire himself
I think he already made up his mind before the meeting started. Down the road he ended up being right

My favorite scene in moneyball

What did he say?
@@Im_Hugh_Jass
He said "fudge you billy". It was the big f bomb! The one word that would assure him being fired.
You should see the censored version of Scarface; more like Scarfarce. "This town is like one great big chicken...just...waiting to be plucked."
I think I saw a version where he says, “Freak You.” Lol

Really, that’s your hero because he walks a lot?
He does what?
He gets on base.
He can moonwalk for all I care.
Guys check your notes or I'm gonna point to Pete again...
This happen in real life? Pete should have slammed this guy lol. “Google me now old head”

Not one of Brad Pitt’s best performances. Great film though
LOL, go get yourself some glasses
Overrated movie and so is Beane. Grady 100% right
Angry are you?
Except history show he isn't.
Grady? Is this you ?
You're confusing this movie with your life
@@ryanwarner5006might want to check history again. Billy Bean failed. The top players carried the team and they got swept in the playoffs
Shit man I work at Dicks Sporting Goods
Sorry about the stray brother man
