Ross was in the lead for 30+ laps last year until AJ put the Bumper to him. Yep, Ross repaid that BUMP and went on to Win. I’ve been a Chastain fan since he was driving for Johnny Davis. I hope he wins again.
Thank you finally someone who actually remembers the events of last year. The DBC guys were ragging on Ross again this week about wrecking Aj last year. They all seem to forget that Aj bumped him first he collected it and returned the favor. The only reason Aj wrecked instead of collecting it was because Bowman was on his outside. Had he not been there he would have collected himself just like Chastain did two turns before.
There’s no question that AJ is the best road course racer is NASCAR. It’s a shame this is his first opportunity at a full time season since the JTG-Daugherty days. It would be huge for him and Kaulig to get a win Sunday.

But I think Buescher is the real under the radar pick. Dude was insane last year on RCs out of nowhere. My pick to win though is Swervez so long as he doesn't make a mistake. He would've ran away with it last year had he not fell victim to choosing between stage points and winning

I think you forgot Kyle Busch. He was always a real good road course racer, and the 8 has been really good the past coyote years. He was one of the top picks for them before Chase showed how his he was at them.
Chase Briscoe got like 5 playoffs points for winning the first stage last season, reason he lost cause of the caution strategy. Not anymore and watch out for him
i'm hoping Jenson Button will win, he's an f1 driver but they race at COTA so i've got high hopes.. he's raced there a few times so he might win unless he wrecks

Chris Buescher actually had the best average finish on road courses last year, if Ford have speed, keep your eye on him.
