It’s a delicacy to eat the orange stuff in the top of the crab. Actually my favorite esp over some hot rice! Just boil the entire crab and then pop it open at the end
I know Im asking randomly but does someone know a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
You are a cool young man Mav, I admire your view of the world and your take on the people and places in it. Thank you for sharing your life travels with us.
Growing up in WA, and only 20 minutes from Dungeness Bay, we used to go crabbing with the ring pots on the weekends. Sounds crazy, but spraying the raw chicken with WD-40 always brought more crabbies our way! We would only go in about 10ft of water and watch them crawl into the ring traps with this PVC pipe thing my Father built. Such good times! Fresh Dungeness crab in salt water with just drawn butter is soooo good! I had a friend give me 8 fresh crabs a couple weeks ago and they were soooo good! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm watching your vedio from Indian.. really every night before sleeping.. I love to watch your vedios.. and I'm dentist.. whenever I feel I'm free I love to watching you.. lots of love from India ❤️
I have lived on the southern oregon coast for 62 years now. And you cook the live crab whole. That way it flavors itself. You cook the whole crab for 20 minutes in boiling water. Then you take the back off. Clean out the guck. Then crack it in half. And take the meat out. That is how you do it for the best flavor. And those perch were tiny. We throw that size back to their mama. My hubby and I fish off the jetty at bastendorf in the Coos Bay. That is where we get big perch. And also good bottom fish like kelp greenling, rock greenling, sea trout, Cabazon, Ling cod. Sometimes crab. Caught a monkey face prickleback eel. That was cool. We fish using a line with 2 leads with hooks hanging down. And we use 2 used spark plugs for weights using rubber tubing to attach the plug in. That way it's not so expensive as you lose alot of weights. And we suck up sand shrimp (ghost shrimp) for bait. Never had any luck with those fake baits that you were using. Love to fish out there. Saw a killer whale while we were fishing one time. It jumped out of the water right in front of us, twice. There was only one other guy out there besides us that day fishing. We got a private sea world show! Love to fish! 🐟🐟🐟
Another great video! You need a counter top to place next to your stove. Then you have a clean prep surface. Or a folding table. You made me hungry for dungeons crab
Mav good to hear man! I’ve been obsessing over ice fishing lately. I need some people to whoop me into ice fishing shape. Will gladly travel to you guys to film some videos together
Love this one Mav! I’m Native And if you ever get the change cook it in a pot of salt water makes all the difference! Also we pick oysters, dig clams, shrimp, crab, halibut, and dive! Some awesome content..
I’m with ya dude. My family has been on the California coast my entire life -Dungeness crab is a part of life. The Old Bay is fine, but I prefer just straight salt water boil. The crab have plenty of flavor -lemon/butter (post cooking) is all that’s needed. I also think crab is better than lobster.
Washingtonian here, I immediately recognized that bridge you were crossing 🤣 Welcome to Washington, the fishing is pretty good here. Can't exactly give any pointers as to the best spots but I'm glad you came to visit. Hope you come back sometime in the future :)
Heck yea! Nice collab! Surf perch are so underrated! Meat takes on flavor so well. We get some of our biggest ones where we’re from in the winter time.
Love fried surf perch. Also surf perch fishing peaks in winter from my experience in Nor Cal but can be caught year round in pretty much any conditions
Just wanted to say how must i have enjoyed your videos this year and hope your 2020 is just as successful. Happy Christmas to you and your family and have a happy new year. 🎅🎄🇮🇪🐟.

I was gonna see if anyone else caught that😂
Not a fisherman, but loving all the outdoor videos and learning about fishing and camping. Thanks
Dude editi, films, fish, and lives alone in his truck. How can you not like this kind of stuff. Deserves to be on the googan squad
You are a cool young man Mav, I admire your view of the world and your take on the people and places in it. Thank you for sharing your life travels with us.
I'm much older then you but I enjoy watching your travels and cooking. Next time you cook crabs try bay leaves and beer with the Old bay Seasoning.
I can't stop watching your videos man. Please don't ever stop making them, I'm learning so much about fishing and cooking

Super stoked to see you’re in my home state of Washington! There’s tons of awesome places to visit here. Keep up the great work, Mav 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I loved Washington state when I worked there. So diverse.
I'm from NW Washington state so Dungeness crab is a real favorite of mine. Best crab ever, glad you caught a keeper!
In Maryland, Old Bay goes on everything lol especially seafood
Best dungeoness crab I had was in San Francisco. It was tossed is this sweet glaze that was amazing

That looked like a great day and finish it off with crab cooked in the back of you own van, priceless. Keep on truckin.
Lol the step brothers reference at 1:34 “deadliest catch..without the crabs”
Another great video! You need a counter top to place next to your stove. Then you have a clean prep surface. Or a folding table. You made me hungry for dungeons crab

Oh yes, Saturday just got better 🎣 🤙🏻 what’s your road plan for the next few weeks?
I’m back in Minnesota now for the holidays!! Probably some ice fishin!
Mav good to hear man! I’ve been obsessing over ice fishing lately. I need some people to whoop me into ice fishing shape. Will gladly travel to you guys to film some videos together
Please do more catch and cooks out of your truck. Love all your vids
I love the 'addicted fishing' guys.....good show Mav!!!
I love surf perch. Ate a bunch that I caught by the mouth of the Klamath. It was around the fourth of July. Used sand crabs for bait
When I'm craving some east coast crab I take me some old bay down to red lobster here in Michigan and sprinkle it in my crab haha
Nice! Old Bay is where it's at! Great collab!
Love this one Mav! I’m Native And if you ever get the change cook it in a pot of salt water makes all the difference! Also we pick oysters, dig clams, shrimp, crab, halibut, and dive! Some awesome content..

Hey Mav, good job at getting out there and checking out our beautiful state.
One tip we use to help slow down condensation on the GoPro is some rainx glass spray. Helps a lot
Love seeing our Maryland seasoning on the West Coast! Great vid!
Washingtonian here, I immediately recognized that bridge you were crossing 🤣
Welcome to Washington, the fishing is pretty good here. Can't exactly give any pointers as to the best spots but I'm glad you came to visit. Hope you come back sometime in the future :)

As a Marylander glad to see Old Bay seasoning that far west
Mav as a Washington native, there’s always surf Perch. You’ll see the old timers out there with clam holders stacking em up.
Thanks for sharing your stories man.
Love the content.
Stay safe brutha
Try diesel heater to keep truck warm. Dry heat no venting. Exhaust outside vehicle
I would recommend to come down to Colorado Springs, Co! Beautiful here- camp out in Pikes peak or Garden of the gods!
If you put a lit bit of vinegar in the water as you boil the crabs it make the meat come out so much easier..
I LOVED watching you catch but even better watching you cook & eat. I’m going to watch your other videos doing the same thing.
I recognized that bridge as soon as I saw it, Longview Washington to Rainer Oregon, keep up the good vids
Casey Subers yup
Ok?
Sicotic Crow ok what?
Rule#1 : a fisherman NEVER gives up his spot .
[ Retracted ] lol no spot was given just a bridge that he went over on the way to the coast chill out dude
Do I fish? No. Do I camp? No. Do I eat seafood? No. But am I watching all of this channel? Yes, yes I am.
Those dudes are gnarly! That Benchmade knife though
Heck yea! Nice collab! Surf perch are so underrated! Meat takes on flavor so well. We get some of our biggest ones where we’re from in the winter time.
Surf perch and crab... my absolute favorite
Rather have crab and greenlings. Much better than the mushy perch.
Are you still in Washington?? Come through to the Puget Sound/Seattle area for some squid catch and cooks.
He isn’t, just saw him back in MN yesterday
Love fried surf perch. Also surf perch fishing peaks in winter from my experience in Nor Cal but can be caught year round in pretty much any conditions

Ah why do I have a feeling that you fail like you didn't catch anything
Cami Flora 😂 just gonna have to go find out
Hi
i consistently catch surf perch since i live in sf and fish the beaches. I cook em in butter and mash it up and put it on a toasted brioche
surf perch is great. since there's no size limit I prefer the smaller ones because the bones dissolve while cooking
Appreciate you Mav
Looks great, as well as delicious. If you're eating anything you caught then it's a good day!
You need to come to the proper Dungeness in Kent in England to appreciate crab and beach fishing
Mav you are awesome makes me want to live out of my truck after my foot surgery

fito fito Same
7:50 "That's awesome" ;)
Mav - up in Manitoba we call that "double drop shot" a pickerel rig. They sell for about .80 at almost any fishing store/ gas station
Looks like longbeach Washington. I grew up there. And the crab secret spot looks like port of Ilwaco lol..
No go pro in the trap?! That have been sweet footage
