I bought this game when it first released, was fun at first, stopped mid way because it eventually became more frustration than fun. Tried again with a friend when the multi-player released, and for me it was whole new experience, I'm in love with the game, I just tend to forget about all the frustrations when with a friend, often times I'm just laughing at my friend or he's laughing at me, there's just something about pulling your friend up by his head when he goofs a jump or holding onto him as he's trying to climb, I feel the objective really isn't to get to the elevator at the end but to just explore the sandbox, which I feel there's more incentive to do when with friends, more friends mean more lifting power, meaning more things you can experiment with, more silly unintended things that can happen. It's just a silly fun time, yeah it is fun to watch, often times funnier when the person you're watching is playing with other people because that's just where the fun is, game lacks content right now, but workshop and new levels are in the works and I cannot wait. So my advice would be, if you're looking to give this a go, find a friend who is also willing, it'll be a different experience.
yeah just like everything else, but my point is that with extra people, it opens up more things to do that you cannot with just one character due to its limitations, i.e. carrying larger and heavier objects, you couldn't break off the stone henge in the castle level, carry it over to the catapult and throw it over into the castle wall with just one player.
I played this game to completion in one night with my old room mate from college. We were laughing to the point of tears throughout the night. It definitely has the capacity to be fun, but I really think it is best enjoyed as a two player game. The grabbing mechanic could definitely use some polish though.
it was really fun for a few hours playing with 3 of my friends online, but later I just got bored and tired, probably because it was 3AM and we were still playing lmao
I played the whole game with my brother in online coop and it was an absolutely funny and enjoyable experience. Doing high fives and pushing each other to the edges never gets old. The best part was the boat map: when we realised we could literally sail a boat we were amazed, then when we got to steer the big cargo ship and move huge intermodal containers with chains, we were ecstatic! But I agree that playing by myself would have been a sadder experience, almost a chore. The clunky controls are only funny if somebody else shares the moment. I do recommend this game mostly if you plan to coop.
This is one of those games where you kind of have to play multiplayer wise. It makes a LOT of the puzzles more interesting and a lot of the tiny annoyances like the camera become a laughing point or is lost in conversation with your friends.
I really enjoy the channel. Can't tell you how much money you've saved me with these reviews. I wish other reviewers followed suit. Hope the new year is kind to you and your channel.
Just a Suggestion: It'd be awesome if you could add time markers for different segments of the review, in your description. Great reviews. Love to see your work.
I got it in a humble bundle for I believe 1 euro for three games (so 33 cents for this game) and that was worth it. 14,99 though? Nah. Might pick it up for 4,99 on Switch but it probably won't ever be that.
I love it but that’s because I’ve only ever played it with a friend and we just goofed off the whole time. I think with open ended games like this you have to make your own fun at points when the game lulls.
In many respects this reminds me of octodad with less story, the game is interesting but the controls set you up for almost instant rage quit. The camera and the controls are a devils game, but in the end it can be enjoyable as longs as it is at the right price. This kind of game could easily sell and prosper with a more consistent control system and a transparency for the gamer to be able to see what they are doing
Personally I don’t think it’s worth it at all, it’s frustrating in a bad way, not like in a way like a Mega Man game or a Battletoads game would be. The first few levels are fun, they’re short stages and they’re fun to go through, but after the castle level, the game really goes to shit. The water level was really annoying to try get through, using the row boat was kinda hard, getting the raft to go in the right place was kinda tricky, trying to get the boat off of the shore took waaaaay longer than it should have, and then the boat was really easy to use. I managed to get myself stuck near the lift to the top of the mountain to the point where I couldn’t get back to it no matter how hard I tried. I ended up deleting the game out of frustration, it’s an annoying that’s not fun at all to play by yourself.
Been meaning to play this but didn't know it you *HAD* to play with friends or if I could play online with strangers. Depending on the answer to that and the price ill pick it up.
Online multiplayer for Human Fall Flat is only available on the PC version for now, however bringing online multiplayer to consoles seems to be the dev's top priority as of now. I believe you can play with strangers on PC, however I'm not sure if that will carry onto the inevitable online update for consoles.
"Some type of toddler that wants something on the top shelf at OshKosh Bekosh." Wow that matched that animation perfectly and cracked me up. Well done.
Sometimes, trying to keep up with your constant stream of metaphors combined with your fast speaking results in me trying to figure out what you're talking about half the time instead of learning about the game
Would have paid the full $15 to get it on Switch, but luckily got it for $7.49. Split joy-con controls work a lot better than I expected, but it’s still better to have joy-con grip and a pro controller for two-player.
I have a question. I bought this game for the switch thinking I could play online with friends I don’t know if I can though is it possible? If so how do you do it
I agree with the review for single player. But playing this with friends who want to mess around that transforms this game into one of the funniest experiences I've had in a game.
Very good game bought it for 5 bucks on PSN it's fun with a friend to play makes it easier and more interesting It's a cool idea your basically climbing jumping moving objects it pretty fun try it out
I love this game. Just casually playing by myself, messing around online with random people, or doing the most outrageous shit with my friends on local. All of it is just so fun
Yeah. I played this game for 4 or 5 hours I think and got pretty far. I can usually adapt to a games' controls and enjoy them at least, but this game just became overly frustrating and not fun to play with how precise you have to be with such an imprecise and drunk-like character. I think your review is fair.
Yeah, you’ll need another set to play with a buddy. The game is looking for two paired sets of joy cons and doesn’t see them. This disabled multiplayer as a selectable option which is why everyone is confused about the multiplayer aspect. Some games take advantage of the “split pair” controllers like Mario Kart 8, but this isn’t one of them.
This is one of the best cooperative games ever. I never laughed so much playing a game with a friend. It's not just funny but also has a really intelligent gameplay I've never seen before. Graphics, sound etc. are completely irrelevant in this game!
You know how long it takes to make games like this? I mean yeah it looks dumb and stupid but thats what makes it such a funny and great game and eventually there will be more updates making the game better so don't complain.
Played this game off Xbox Gamepass, it's a pretty fun physics puzzler (When played for free) but there's hardly any levels in it, I was disappointed at the lack of stages and the fact the game just sorta ends abruptly. I don't know if the dev has given up on the title or what but it is kinda a shame... I have to say the fun aspects of the game are really the physics and how your ragdoll character interacts with them, can be a blast when playing multiplayer and having people flung around the map and getting caught in some hilarious mishaps. I don't think this game is worth buying in its current state, maybe the price of a typical arcade game, or less. If the Developer starts actually adding more levels then I might say pick it up.
£5 on the playstation store at the moment, nice game, better with two players whilst chilling, finding ingenious way to throw the other player off the map is fun.
You guys think human fall flat singleplayer is boring? That's really odd to me. I find singleplayer a lot more enjoyable. 40+ hours on just singleplayer so far. I think it's way more fun.
"sometimes you can't see what your hands are doing" and then think of reckit Ralph and them think about the quote Like or comment if you know what I'm thinking
That joke about the Chinese escalator was a bit too much. Tragic deaths should be a big no-no when it comes to fun in a game review. I love your reviews but had to point that out.
One thing that is verry anoying on xbox is that you can only ply split screen on 1 xbox but on pc you can have 4 players an Have a full screen hope they add multiplayer still fun though
I bought this game when it first released, was fun at first, stopped mid way because it eventually became more frustration than fun. very cool
Raza077777 My girlfriend and I played this together and had a blast.
CALL THE PRESSES EVERYONE! IT'S MORE FUN WITH A FRIEND!!! Just like every else in the universe.
yeah just like everything else, but my point is that with extra people, it opens up more things to do that you cannot with just one character due to its limitations, i.e. carrying larger and heavier objects, you couldn't break off the stone henge in the castle level, carry it over to the catapult and throw it over into the castle wall with just one player.
You got it! multi-player is FUN
Basically, that looks like very old very drunk very sad man simulator.
That’s the point 😂

It definitely has the capacity to be fun, but I really think it is best enjoyed as a two player game. The grabbing mechanic could definitely use some polish though.
The6DeadlyStrings How do I play split screen
For the console version, Press A (Switch and Xbox One) or X (PS4) on another controller
SupaYoshiCap is the content and maps gets updated or the maps still the same
Does it need ps plus to play with friends??
it was really fun for a few hours playing with 3 of my friends online, but later I just got bored and tired, probably because it was 3AM and we were still playing lmao
Gotta love that 1-second jump delay that halts any form of precise platforming.
Weekend at Bernie's Simulator 2017
true lol

You should do Audio books. Very engaging voice that could draw anybody in on any topic. Very well done.

thanks man
2:48 is that a really short stub to the hobbit's song misty mountains?
I think the PC version is probably the best version as it comes with online co op, the game becomes a lot more enjoyable with friends.
Jay and you can really customize with the paint and a mouse
And it has best controls IMO, but it may be because I have played with keyboard and mouse my whole life.
Well now they are gonna have a online update for the Switch
Just a Suggestion: It'd be awesome if you could add time markers for different segments of the review, in your description.
Great reviews. Love to see your work.
I enjoy the game. However, I agree with the wait for a sale verdict.
I got it in a humble bundle for I believe 1 euro for three games (so 33 cents for this game) and that was worth it. 14,99 though? Nah. Might pick it up for 4,99 on Switch but it probably won't ever be that.

Bought it a few days ago on sale for 4.99$ way worth it.
It's on sale 50% on Xbox right now, £12 down to £6. Not too bad I think.
On sale now with an almost free Steam Link box worth 50 dollars now for a buck. Definitely enjoying it.
The game is currently 50% off on the US eShop! It’s $7.49 till March 26!! Go get it now while it’s on sale. Perfect price if you ask me.
You can paint your character to give him a face or a skin colour or whatever you want, you can also change the colour of the clothes
Ah, Switch version. Was wondering why this was being reviewed now.
ok
Good talk.
ACG Does switch offer online multiplayer or just split screen
Paladin Spoon both

true that
How does 2 player split screen work with joy cons? Do you need 2 pairs of joy cons, or can you each use half of a joy con?
Each person needs one joy con
Drunken Baby Simulator
Dude I just love your reviews, if I think about buying a game I always look to see if you’ve made a review of it 👊
Personally I don’t think it’s worth it at all, it’s frustrating in a bad way, not like in a way like a Mega Man game or a Battletoads game would be. Happy you're on these Switch games! Have a good Holiday brother!

Been meaning to play this but didn't know it you *HAD* to play with friends or if I could play online with strangers.

yea someone answer my friend ^

I don't know why no one has touched on that one cave area in the mountain level next to the rope
2:15 Where does this guy get his absinthe from?
I have a PS4 and I want to know more about this game before I buy it. Can you play with random people online?
Absolutely agree that it was more fun to watch on twitch. For me at least. Nice video!
thanks
"Some type of toddler that wants something on the top shelf at OshKosh Bekosh." Wow that matched that animation perfectly and cracked me up. Well done.
Does it have Split joy con splitscreen support?
10:47 what other games in this genre pls?
Sometimes, trying to keep up with your constant stream of metaphors combined with your fast speaking results in me trying to figure out what you're talking about half the time instead of learning about the game
Check Dreamcastguy. He does good reviews and slower for those that have trouble keeping up
ACG thank you bud, still love your reviews and I keep subscribed to ya. Keep doin your thing 🖒
sure man!
I was thinking of buying this one for a long time. Thanks for the review.
Can you capture in game videos of this game on the switch?
GET THIS GAME EVERYONE, Its totally fun when playing with friends and randoms in public lobbies
do you need ps plus
Would have paid the full $15 to get it on Switch, but luckily got it for $7.49. Split joy-con controls work a lot better than I expected, but it’s still better to have joy-con grip and a pro controller for two-player.
You describe it perfectly to me, I have no desire to buy or play this game but I have watched a videos of gameplay that were pretty damn funny
I just got this in the eshop half off and used my gold points to take 3 more off so it was only 4.60 ish
I have a question. I bought this game for the switch thinking I could play online with friends I don’t know if I can though is it possible? If so how do you do it
This game really shines when playing with friends (there is a multplayer option available)
I agree with the review for single player. But playing this with friends who want to mess around that transforms this game into one of the funniest experiences I've had in a game.
Hey ACG, can we expect an XboxOne/PS4 Hat in Time review?
Another great video been wondering whether to pick this one up for a while
no probably not on that game sorry
It's worth mentioning this game shines in co-op. PC has 4-player co-op and consoles have 2-player co-op.
Great video, bought this from Super Rare Games UK who are doing limited physical run of 5000
Seems like you had a lot more trouble with the controls and gameplay than I did. Jumping and grabbing is easy
Huh the controls seem very fluid to me ive never had a problem with it it just feels so natural
Very good game bought it for 5 bucks on PSN it's fun with a friend to play makes it easier and more interesting It's a cool idea your basically climbing jumping moving objects it pretty fun try it out
@ACG will you make Monhun World demo review?
I was gonna get the physical copy, but this review changed my mind.
Great review. Thank you for your honesty, as always.
"Like a Chinese elevator that sucks you down with no remorse" acg is a poet
I love this game. Just casually playing by myself, messing around online with random people, or doing the most outrageous shit with my friends on local. All of it is just so fun

This is a very smart game. Don't get confused by the funny animations, these puzzles will demand work, and solving them out is highly rewarding.
The game felt like a job
@@funlovenboy lol
where can i buy xbox one actual disc ??
i think flat shading can have its place, but only when geometry is accurate otherwise it can look cartoony
Does anybody know how to play split screen on it
Alan Solis just press x or a on the controller
Spikiest Lotust can u play 4 players???????? Plzzzz answer
Planning to play with a friend. Wondering if I should get this on switch or PS4...
Hey K! Are you planning on a Battlestar Galactica Deadlock?
Do you need to have an extra set of joycons to play 2 player
Ben Valdez I think, i’ve been trying to play Split screen but I can’t
Yeah, you’ll need another set to play with a buddy. The game is looking for two paired sets of joy cons and doesn’t see them. This disabled multiplayer as a selectable option which is why everyone is confused about the multiplayer aspect. Some games take advantage of the “split pair” controllers like Mario Kart 8, but this isn’t one of them.
Wait so can you do 4 player local co-op or only 2?
Only 2
This game is on sale right now through March 26th!!
This is one of the best cooperative games ever. I never laughed so much playing a game with a friend. It's not just funny but also has a really intelligent gameplay I've never seen before. Graphics, sound etc. are completely irrelevant in this game!
Got it on sale on xbox and thoroughly enjoyed this. Achievements are interesting too. One of them games that go under the radar
The game should be named 'Early Access - Unfinished But Let's Call It A Day Edition'.
You know how long it takes to make games like this? I mean yeah it looks dumb and stupid but thats what makes it such a funny and great game and eventually there will be more updates making the game better so don't complain.
Woosh

when on PS4 can you play online or local?
I wish they would have put it on sale for the holidays
In my opinion, some of the main levels somewhat went on longer than they should have been.
It's a fun game- I only recommend it without a sale on consoles if you have a friend to play the splitscreen with. Otherwise, do wait for a sale.
I know I'm late buy where do I buy it??
how much does this cost on the switch?
I was going to buy this one. Thx for the video.
£5 on the playstation store at the moment, nice game, better with two players whilst chilling, finding ingenious way to throw the other player off the map is fun.
Have you played the free dlc
You guys think human fall flat singleplayer is boring? That's really odd to me. I find singleplayer a lot more enjoyable. 40+ hours on just singleplayer so far. I think it's way more fun.
Gzz, i got motion sickness after 30minutes

Will they ever add online for ps4
Its on a sale today, time to buy it
The game have online?/el juego tiene online?
7:04 really "human go splat"
The music is deep. I have spoken.
In my experience playing the game I’ve learned to climb flat walls and just cheat levels.
Interesting idea, though I can't see myself playing it for long even at that price.
the game hurts the brain even by just looking at it
Did you see you play Dungeons & Dragons? That is my favorite game ever. I'm always looking for a good group to join.
That joke about the Chinese escalator was a bit too much. Tragic deaths should be a big no-no when it comes to fun in a game review.
I love your reviews but had to point that out.
It's 50% off right now on eshop
What's exactly is the genre of this kind of game called?
Ragdoll
Puzzle
OctoDad on the job! Looks more like a proof-of-concept than a game. Sounds like a deep, deep sale. I think you went too easy on this one.
If anybody come by around the time i comment this, its on sale for 50% off have fun guys :)
4:45 I had trouble concentrating on the review for a while here lol
One thing that is verry anoying on xbox is that you can only ply split screen on 1 xbox but on pc you can have 4 players an Have a full screen hope they add multiplayer still fun though
Does this game have multiplayer on ps4
OhReMiix12 no
