Hey guys, just wanted to ask, do Carpenter have consistent work? Or it is a case of you are constantly subcontracted? Or can carpenter’s world for a company permanently?
Hi! Im a carpenter in Sweden with 6 years of experience. We have the same ”laws/rules” here. Im very intressting of working in aus for a year. Who can I ask for help/advice?
Hi Simon, I would probably recommend checking with the skill assessor - Trades Recognition Australia. If you can pass a skill assessment, then start looking at the different visas.
The average Carpenter salary in Australia is $75,000 per year or $38.46 per hour. Entry level positions start at $55,000 per year while most experienced workers make up to $100,000 per year.
No problem, do you have a specific city you would like to study in? TAFE QLD is good. Feel free to email us on info@pathwaytoaus.com and we can send through some different course options for you to review.
